I had gotten 2 estimates to install a slide topper on my travel trailer. The better price was found at Affordable RV Repair Center... but this is not why I chose them.A larger RV center in Kitsap County verbally gave me 3 different prices for the exact same options (we knew what we wanted) each time I spoke with them to get the estimate sent to me. Upon the 3rd request, they finally obliged. That same center told me they would need my unit for 2 weeks for a 2 hour install, and that they could get to the work in about 3 weeks... it was at that point I called Affordable RV Repair.Jennifer quoted me the same slide topper awning for $300 cheaper. She was quick to submit the estimate after only 1 request, and put me on the schedule 1 week out.2 days later (due to delayed shipping of parts) I was able to pick up my trailer.I also got the opportunity to discuss a solar and lithium conversion with Marc. There are a bunch of options, and Marc was able to recommend the best setup for our rig and individual needs. I got the impression that we were clients, and not just a dollar sign. I appreciated that. There is a saying that you can't have good, fast, and cheap... but with Affordable RV Repair Center you absolutely can. I will definitely do business with them again and confidently recommend them to everyone in need of their services.Service: Body & Trim

Tried several times to call and each time someone lifted the receiver and hung up immediately. That's a really poor business behavior.

It is hard to find a good RV repair shop that you can trust. For us Affordable RV is that shop. We have taken our last 3 RV's there for service and they have always done great work at a fair price.

One word…avoid! Affordable RV Repair is anything but “affordable” and if I could give these scam artists a negative rating instead, I would. I have a 2020 travel trailer that has several aftermarket upgrades (Victron inverter/charger and GoPower solar panels) that were professionally installed. In preparation for the 2023 camping season, a very reputable local, mobile RV mechanic looked over the unit and recommended that heavier gage battery cables be used in lieu of the smaller ones installed by the dealer. Unfortunately, the mobile mechanic was too busy to perform this repair in the timeframe that we needed but told us specifically what needed done. At Affordable RV, our high tech upgrades apparently stymied the owner/chief mechanic and his proposed remedy; tearing out the new inverter/charger and solar panels off the roof, replacing them with new ones (that he sells) and completely rewiring the RV to the tune of $5,100. Also, one of the batteries tested low and they recommended a new Delco AGM battery (he is a local dealer). I declined, saying that I was soon to convert to Lithium batteries. Jennifer, the receptionist and co-owner, told me, “Your RV is not equipped to handle lithium batteries”…huh, what? She also informed me that my Victron inverter/charger (a very popular model for RV installations), was “too powerful for your RV”. Wow! Completely unbelievable. Even with my limited knowledge of RV electrical systems, I know that both of her statements were complete and total BS, made up on the spot to support their narrative. Take my advice, save a great deal of money, avoid these shysters and instead use 20/20 Mobile RV repair. I fully expect a response from the owner(s) hinting that my RV upgrades were unprofessionally or shoddily installed or that my RV’s wiring was a mess. That said, both statements would be absolutely untrue as they were just hoping to cash in on an unsuspecting customer. Never again!

I have a Grand Design travel trailer that had slide issues since a bought it new. I had taken it to multiple dealerships, including the one I bought it from, who were unable to fix the problem. Affordable RV repair fixed it the first time I took it there. Very Nice and professional staff.*Bonus - When I picked up my trailer I pinched my tire on a parking block and tore the sidewall. (stupid!) The folks in the shop came out with their shop jack and changed my tire!I cannot thank them enough!

We used their services for years. Then last year we took our RV to have a leak checked and fixed in the slide out andhave it resealed. When we went to use it this summer, my husband's foot almost went right through the floor. It had leaked where it was supposed to be fixed. We went to let them know, and they washed their hands off the whole thing, saying it had been a year and the warranty had expired , to fix it would cost thousands .Obviously, we had someone else fix it. When they opened the membrane underneath, it was full of water. All this could have been avoided if they had checked it when we took it to be fixed since at that time, there was nothing wrong with the floor. We will never recommend them again.
