I liked the shop , however the person at the counter was very snobby, unfriendly, wouldn’t have bought a thing , it’s important to be welcoming to your customers. I guess she had so much self importance she didn’t want to associate with the little people .

Sarah (Sara?) treated us beautifully. She proved knowledgeable about every stitch of fabric in the place, about the origins of every strange and wondrous object in this couture extraordinaire. What a find in such a small, unique, unexpected town.Clothes-hounds, collectors, and style-freaks: Seek thee out the Hedgerow. Have an experience.

Lovely shop. Beautiful clothes and decor pieces and everything is handmade in USA. The prices are steep, but seems that’s the overall theme in Edison.

Located in Edison and only open Thursday through Sunday, this shop is such a treat and worth a day trip from Seattle. I never actually feel cool enough to be in here, but I certainly aspire to -- and am always made to feel welcome. This tiny store is curated with the most beautiful and unique things from around the world. On my most recent visit, there were richly colored, linen scarves from Harappa (Japan), candles & scents from Mad et Len (France) ( who knew 'graphite' would be such an elegant and calming smell?!), stunningly illustrated Nathalie L'ete table linens for England-based Avenida home, and some fun antiques interspersed throughout. There are also gorgeous ceramics and jewelry pieces, many of them handmade and/or local. I would say that I wish there was a store like this in Seattle, but some of the charm definitely lies in its distance and quaint, small town location. PSA -- they now sell some of their things online. You could buy me anything from this store and I know I would like it.

We went for a scenic drive and ended up on this cute little street in Bow. We were hungry and decided to get a few things: almond bostock, pain-au-chocolat, cranberry shortbread cookies and this monster multi-grain bread (so heavy I thought it was made of gold.) We ate the pastries on the spot and they were delightful. It would be awesome if the shop sells coffee or expresso to go along with the pastries. When we got home, we toasted the bread and put some butter on it--OMG, it was out of this world. I have never been a bread person but I can eat this bread until the cows come home. Finally we had the cranberry shortbread cookie with some green tea for desert. We were a bit surprised that their prices are on par with Seattle but after tasting their products, I think the quality speaks for itself. Now my husband wants to drive there every weekend just to get the bread!

We drive between Seattle and Vancouver, BC, several times a year, usually on the beautiful winding hillside Chuckanut Trail (unless the weather is bad). We always stop at BreadFarm for artisan bread, croissants, baguettes, pastries. Excellent quality. Very fresh. Local, natural ingredients. Not loaded with preservatives, so plan to eat bread and pastries within a few days. Very friendly service. Since COVID, they have suspended indoor service and you order from a take out window. Cash only. Worth the short detour even if you are on I-5. In the town of Edison, but the address is 5766 Cains Court, Bow, WA 98232.

A man whom I met at the hotel told us about this tiny town of Edison. It’s probably 100 yards from one end to the other. I this small place, we found a small but wonderful bakery. There were people lined up even on a rainy day. I highly recommend this place.

This is a very casual place with limited seating indoors but ample seating outdoors for those sunny days. The food is freshly made and delicious. I had their Senegalese peanut soup and a half sandwich. Both were delicious. The staff is friendly and the place is full of good smells and vibes. It’s a great place to stop for lunch coming or going along Chuckanut Drive. I’d highly recommend it.

My wife and I took our kids for a Sunday drive down on Chuckanut Drive this past weekend and we ended up in the lovely town of Edison and it was perfect visit for a clear fall day. We parked and you can't help but want to walk into Hedgerow because of how cute the building is and they also carry my favorite cologne. If you are looking for unique gifts, personal accessories, etc, it is well worth the drive and do visit the other shops and eateries.

Great quality bread & baked goods with helpful, knowledgeable and friendly service. Especially great: use of different grains in the baking. They focus on using local ingredients. If you are in the area, do stop in for baked goods. Pls be aware they can run out! An order online option is available. Also, this is an order & pick up bakery. Don’t plan for a sit down. Fun fact: this bakery offers an adopt-a-loaf program for the local school & food bank.

I've had the pleasure of visiting the lovely store many times while visiting Edison. One fall I even took a special trip to do all my holiday shopping here. It has unique and interesting items and typically a very helpful sales person. I popped in this past weekend and picked up a lovely blouse. I was taken aback by the rude attitude of the shop keeper. When I finished paying her only words were "bye". I like to rely on word of mouth to find out the best local places to shop, dine or visit and don't put much weight into online reviews but frankly, saying thank you doesn't seem to be too much to expect. Bye Hedgerow.

Hedgerow is a beautiful shop. I love walking into a space and feeling right away that it was put together thoughtfully and carefully. The combination of new and old is just right.
