Candice and her crew absolutely saved me on my recent move! I had to downsize considerably, and was 5 flights up on the 3rd floor! It was a tough move and Sons of Thunder made it as painless as it could possibly be. They were careful and considerate of my belongings and secured everything very well. I highly recommend this local mover! No one standing around smoking and looking at their cellphone. Just fast, and courteous service.

Not happy and do not recommend this company. When I first hired them I had high hopes because Candice convinced me that they would take great care of our furniture, and I like to give new small businesses a chance to prove themselves. Previous to the move I called to confirm and asked if they would wrap our furniture and she told me that they don't wrap for local moves. So my girlfriend and I spend several hours carefully wrapping our furniture with plastic, cardboard, and styrofoam to prevent damage. On the day of the move they were 2 hour late. During the move the men were polite and agreed to our requests without hesitation, which is about the only good thing that I can say. Less than half a mile before our final stop they decided to get gas, which I thought was weird since I was paying by the hour. Why should I pay for them to pump gas? That should be done on their own time after the move. After the move we began unwrapping our furniture only to find several pieced that we had wrapped with plastic and cardboard for protection had been damaged! After several weeks of calling and emailing they finally agreed to repair our damaged furniture. The day finally came for them to pick up the furniture and they were an hour late! Candice told us we would have our furniture back within a week, but it took almost 2 full weeks to get it back. And when we finally did get it back they were again 2 hours late and the repair job was poorly done. They just filled some of the dents with crayon that gets easily wiped off with a damp towel and completely missed several areas of damage. Even the men who dropped off the items agreed that it was poorly done. I tried to get Candice on the phone while her men were here to get things sorted out but she chose not to answer. Her employee called to see what he should do and she answered right away, but it seems that she told her men to pack up and leave without even telling us. Who leaves in the middle of a conversation with a customer without saying anything? I tried calling again afterwards and left a message but it seems at this point her solution is to just ignore me and hope that I go away. I will not be using them again and will be sure to tell everyone I know to stay away.

I will not recommend this mover. The head of the crew was very good and professional and his staff were two teenagers who were careless and inexperienced.

Worst "moving" experience ever. If you can even call it that. They never showed up! I even emailed them days prior to verify the move and after waiting several days for a response, Candace finally replied to confirm the move. 9 am came and went. I called and emailed several times to find out if they were coming but no one ever picked up. DO NOT go with this company. Completely irresponsible especially at this time of the year and time of the month where many movers are booked. Thank goodness I was able to find people to move me.

i was able to get their EXCELLENT SERVICE by checking their previous customer's review and they have proved it right. They gave it all, very fast, took care of our delicate and fragile stuffs nicely and exceeded our expectation. EXECELLENT! EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!

After using Sons of Thunder Movers I will never move my own self again! What a fantastic job they all did, at an affordable price. Taking excellent care, at both places, to not scratch furniture and chairs into walls even! I had 6 boxes labeled fragile, and after unpacking, not 1 thing was broken! Thank you so much guys!!!!

We had a team of 3 that helped us move. We weren't as prepared as I like to be when movers arrive, but the team really rolled with it, and with very little direction they moved our 3 bedroom house, and then unloaded it into our new place. It took about 6.5 hours, they used their time wisely and even helped close up the last few boxes. I would and will use them again. Thanks Christian and Team!

Best move yet. These two guys were so friendly and professional. They even put up with my anxious dog giving them lip (she warmed up to them once they stopped moving stuff lol). Honestly I can't think of a single complaint. I even met the business owner when she brought them lunch and she was a delight as well.

If I could give ten stars I would! You won't go wrong hiring Sons of Thunder. Their professionalism and care for your belongings are only exceeded by their politeness. From the first phone call with Candice to Josh and Christian leaving our new house with pizza in hand, the experience with this company was first rate.

Fantastic service! My husband is hard to please when it comes to services like this, but even he told me how courteous, polite, clean and hard-working the Sons of Thunder are. I made mistake after mistake, I forgot information, but they were still prompt, accommodating, and I can't thank them enough! Definitely hope they get the business they deserve, but I also wish I could keep them to myself! If you're looking to hire movers, this should be your first choice!

If I could give more stars I would. We came across this company on yelp and from the first phone call they were the most customer-centered company we called when getting quotes for moving houses. They showed up early in that awesome yellow truck that is unmistakable. It gets the job done, which is the most important thing. They pulled up a few minutes early which was helpful because my wife and I weren't stuck waiting around for them to get there and we could get started really quickly. It was a two man team and they were incredibly friendly from the start. we walked around and I showed them what they were taking and weren't taking and they got to work. They loaded, moved and unloaded our 3 bedroom house in 2 hours so it was incredibly quick. (The original estimate was 3 hours) But here is the thing, they weren't just quick, they were thoughtful and careful in how they were moving our possessions. Their approach to loading the truck was on par with the best of Tetris players and everything was very secure. Nothing was broken or scratched in the move because of their commitment to performing excellently. On top of that, they were a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this team over any of the other big movers. It's a family run local shop and they will take care of your move better than I have ever seen. Please give them a call. It will be worth saving you time and money!

They are amazing. I used their help to move my house. They were very professional, fast, energetic all day even after 10 hours of lifting and dismantling and above all they kept their amazing pleasant attitude. I will never worry about moving again. I recommend Sons of Thunder and i give them 5 star in a heartbeat.
