3 pumps chip cards were out of order but I was told that corporate won’t let them put up a sign letting customers know this because there are “no corporate approved signs”. After having my card held hostage by the non-functioning machine, I was baffled why such a policy even exists! Customers need to be a priority but clearly we are not.

I am a routine customer to this store and may not be any longer. Tammy, the clerk decided to be rude and extremely hostile. We were parked in one of their spots LATE at night. Hardy any customers coming and going. So we sat for a minute trying to get my daughter situated for the long drive ahead of us. She opened her window and started yelling at us at first I didn’t know who she was talking to because I was busy with my daughter so I said to her “give us just a minute because I’m trying to get my daughter all together before our long drive” to which she answered “not my problem.” Sure it was longer than ideal because we didn’t want to be there in the first place that late at night.

place is nice and clean but uses the worst type of fuel pumps - you have to fiddle with the handle to get it to work, then it pumps quite slowly, they when you go to put it away it's designed to hurt the hand if one isn't gripping it just right.

Lots of well lit pumps at night. Only one restroom on the inside but the convenience store is large and clean. The night clerk was friendly and it felt safe enough for a midnight visit. No tweakers or suspicious types to be concerned of hanging about.

Is it too much for you to ASK customers if they want a bag? If I buy 10 items, why do you think I want to juggle them on the way home? Also, why cant you just pay for the bags on your own? I buy gas and several items, but you cant pop for the $ .08?

This Shell station is the reason why the neighboring 7-Eleven and Teriyaki place both got kicked out, solely for a bigger mini-mart :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Crazy lady working there just denied me my purchase because she thought I was somebody else who was just in there. She straight up can’t tell the difference between two people? There are plenty of other gas stations near you, not coming back.

Went to this Shell today! It is always very busy. I have signed up for Shell awards to save .05 per gallon. This is the second time I have gone to a pump and the keys dont work to put in your Shell Rewards information. The first time I just paid full price, today I decided to go to the cashier to see if she could help. I told her the situation and she said sorry this is nothing I can do to help you. I told her that this has happened twice now and what she could do is tell someone to fix it. She slammed the window in my face. That isnt what I think Shell would want a customer treated like, but oh well! Just wont buy gas there as there is a Shell station across the street that pumps worked wonderfully.

On December 22, 2016 at 8:37pm in Bothell, WA, I went to this Jacksons/Shell store to purchase $20 of gas, a coconut water, and a 20 oz Sprite for a total of $25.12. Instead experienced blatant racism and bigotry. After I successfully ran my card as credit, signed my signature, and was about to walk away, the cashier (who was not wearing a name tag) asked to see my ID. I wondered why he wanted to see my ID AFTER the transaction because, if there is a suspicion of fraudulent card activity, the ID is asked to be shown BEFORE the card is swiped. I asked the man, whose name I still did not receive, and it was not printed on the receipt, why he needed to see my ID. He said it was because I signed my signature too fast and he wanted to make sure I actually owned my card. What?? That makes NO sense. He did not to this to ANY other customer, of which there were many. Just me. The single minority at the gas station At that point in time, he had NO idea what my name was, and his assessment for how long it would take to sign my name was a suspiciously arbitrary requirement. The cashier, who later claimed to be the owner, rolled his eyes at me and said he was just making sure that the card was mine. I told him that if my card were stolen, then that is something that my bank and I would take care of, as it was not his place to question if my card was mine after a successful swipe and his assessment of how fast I signed my name. I walked away from the walk-up window, back to my car at pump 8, and the cashier followed me. I wanted my money back, but I felt unsafe. And not only had he left his register to follow me, he then flipped me off with his middle finger and started smoking a cigarette at a fully functioning gas pump. At this point, my safety was in such jeopardy that I sought the next best option to resolve this situation, which is reach out to corporate. I went to this Jacksons and was unfairly called out. No one else was followed. No one was was given a middle finger. Myself and my family will no longer be shopping at this gas station or any other Jacksons or Shell station. While they are conveniently located, I cannot patronize a store that treats their honest consumers like criminals based on their skin color.

this place is literally manifested ignorance at its worst! Was trying to help a friend and he refused to even look out the window to see if they were still there. Worker wouldn't even give me his name over the phone. Its a sad day when a shell gas station makes you question the state of society in general. Get it together!
