Terrible Experience with SUV Purchase and Lack of Service
I bought a 4x4 SUV from this dealership on April 2024, after being warmly welcomed by a gentleman with great marketing skills. After a phone conversation, we sealed the deal, and I drove off with the vehicle. However, as I was leaving, we noticed that the car needed a lot of repairs. The salesman assured me I could drive the car and bring it back for repairs after some test driving to get a feel for it.
Unfortunately, I had to make four trips to their repair shop in Everett, which is an hour away from me, but none of the promised repairs were done. Every time I went, I was met with empty promises, even after trying to deal with the owner directly.
In August, 2024, I had enough of the runaround. I told both the salesman and the owner that I couldn’t keep driving an unsafe car, so I returned the 2007 vehicle. In exchange, I was given an older 2004 model, shockingly for the same price. This older SUV has battery and starter issues, often wouldn’t start, and even stalls while im driving.
I requested that the vehicle be checked or replaced. The owner promised me a loaner vehicle and to fix the car. I made yet another one-hour drive to their Lynwood shop, only for them to refuse to fix. They claimed I was two months behind on payments and wouldn't fix the car unless I paid up first. This was the first time they even mentioned arrears!
This entire experience has been a nightmare. The company has shown no accountability, and their customer service is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone.

My Corolla car suddenly stopped starting. There's no engine sound or no clicking noise when I try to start it. The battery seems fine, as the lights, wipers, and audio are all working perfectly, but the engine wouldn't start at all.
When I visited Safety Auto Repair in Bothell and met Farshad, he immediately understood the issue. He even came with me to where my car was parked, thoroughly checked everything, and identified that the starter was faulty. I had my car towed to his workshop, and within a few hours, he had it fixed. Now, the car runs great. This place is great and quick at getting the job done.

Wonderful service. I took my car in a few months ago because of overheating due to a coolant leak, and they fixed it the same day and gave me a very good price for it. It has been working great ever since. I will be taking my car here for repairs from now on.

They do great work for a great price. Brought in my Camry for a window switch. They unplugged it and plugged it back in and didn’t charge me. Found a coolant leak in my Camry and fixed it. They did my PPI when I bought my Lexus Serviced my transmission on my Lexus. All the work done has been of great value! Best shop for the best price!

Great service! They replaced my flywheel quickly! I wasn't expecting super fast turnaround with a shop this size but they knocked it out quick. And at a more than reasonable price!! Very impressed! I'll be taking my vehicle here for any future maintenance. Thanks guys!

Honestly one of the sketchiest experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. Extremely poor communication, potential lies, and completely unsure of what work they actually did.
- I took my Prius in because the ABS/brakepump module was going out hard, and just needed it replaced before the brakes failed. I requested a new one because I didn't want this to happen again in like a year.
- I get a call from the mechanic later about how there must be something wildly wrong with my brakes, as they "locked up so hard thought we hit something and all the dash lights came on" while it was just being pulled into the shop. this is never brought up again, and isn't how the brake pump fails, and isn't something we ever encountered or have since. Despite that, they're also willing to drive it somewhere safer to store it during the long wait to get the part. Like are you trying to scare me into replacing an expensive part? That's what I brought it there for already.
- They say they tried to save me money and did a "software update" which 'fixed the issue', and handed the car back to me for free. It didn't fix it, I only made it like 2 miles down the road before turning around afraid the pump would fail with how hard it was struggling.
- Zero communication for ages, have to keep calling them. Discover the owner had an emergency out of the country and didn't leave my number anywhere for the manager to call so they had to wait for me. Emergencies happen, but ???
- Didn't recognize that the brake pump going off every few seconds was not normal, should have been a warning sign that they weren't experienced enough and to take it somewhere else but it was too late then.
- Get told multiple times that the wrong part was ordered, it's here, it's not here, it came in a few days ago, etc.
- Perhaps worst of all, I go in to pick the car up and am told "we put a used part in because the new one would have taken weeks longer". I didn't authorize that, they never even mentioned it, but after waiting close to 2 months, I needed my car back. This brake pump is of course as old as the one being replaced, so it's only moderately better.
- They give it back with a tank blinking on empty! They offer to put $10 of gas in it but once it's brought back, it's still empty.
- The next day while driving I hear what all the world sounds like a tool fall out from under my hood. Can't say this was related but I don't generally have metal things fall out of my car.
I can't even tell if the prices were reasonable because they told me nothing beforehand, how many hours it would probably take, an estimate, nothing.

The AC in my 2009 Honda CRV started working sporadically. I called Safety auto repair and left a vmail message. Farshad called me back quickly and mentioned I could drop off the car same day, and the work would be done by the next morning. I took him up on his offer, dropped the car off, and by next morning he called me back and said it was ready for pickup. The estimate he provided over the phone was nearly spot on, and the cost was fair. I will be bringing my car back to Farshad again. Great service!

Farshad and his team were very nice. The service was fast - they changed the gas in AC and Oil in 1 hour along fixing the front bumper parts for free. Would recommend anyone needing car maintenance to come here.

My car was broken into, shattered rear window, broken steering column (attempted theft). I had never been through something like this. After getting turned away by multiple other repair shops due to the need for a technician to repair the steering column, I called Safety Auto repair.
They had me drop it off the same day. Worked with my insurance, and had it repaired far faster than I expected.
They were friendly, empathetic to my situation, confident, and competent. Truly can’t thank these guys enough. ❤️❤️❤️

Farshad is the very best in Bothell and beyond!
I went in with a number of problems (eviscerated brake pads, low oil, wiper fluid and more) and was dreading the price of everything after a few expensive quotes elsewhere.
After a free inspection, I was quoted a price that was 100s of dollars cheaper than other places around.
Farshad and his team handled everything (and more including a seized brake on the house) in record time and my car hasn't run this nicely in years.
The people at Safety Auto Repair are true professionals! I will be a customer for life.

Farshad and his team are so great. I have had engine work done and many other repairs and they get work done effectively, efficiently, and for a great price. I am never taking my jeep into the dealership ever again now that I have my own local mechanic. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
