Self-Checkout Cart at QFC: Super Convenient!
Took the kids to QFC today and tried out the Kroger Go cart for the first time—what a game changer! My little one even managed to discover and unlock a “random discount” after we spent $35.
Here’s how it works: Once you push the cart to the self-checkout area, the screen on the cart automatically displays a spinning wheel for discounts. We landed a $10 coupon, which was instantly applied at checkout. Swipe your card and you’re done—so fast and easy!
Not sure if I’m late to the party, but if you haven’t tried it yet, give it a go—it’s fun! We got our entire haul for just $27.50, and it was totally worth it.

I can’t really rate this store. My car doesn’t know another way to go. Been in the area for several decades and this store has changed owners over the years. This has kept up quality overall. I go to Safeway or Fred Meyer and am often disappointed. Not sure why. Prices? Staff? QFC can be higher, but if you keep your eyes peeled for the weekly sales and specials they can be ridiculously cheap. I’ve a friend who prefers PCC. I often just gasp at the prices. there. I’ve another who planned every meal around this QFC’s specials. One young woman I know used to work on a now gone BECU branch there. She complained at no longer having easy access to this QFC’s produce because she let other stores lacked the quality in produce. Me? My car takes me here. It’s my home store.

I saw a staff member taking moldy strawberries out of the plastic boxes and putting the boxes back in the cooler. I don’t appreciate this behavior. I will skip this store.

5th July Friday (Gentle Old Lady) at the Liquor and Customer Service desk was very kind to help me return a coffee. She welcomed me with smile and did the return after asking relevant questions. I feel really good as a customer. She should be training the new and the younger employees. Very good customer service.
