Never go to Bothell Petco, they have the worst grooming service for pets and completely not customer friendly. Groomer Devon - is the worst groomer I have come across.
Devon who was the groomer for my pet was such an unfriendly person with least customer service experience. Not sure if she was being a racist. I went on Monday and reached by 11:14 and had to wait for 10 mins outside the grooming station. And then Devon comes and mentions that they have a 20 mins waiting policy and she has to reschedule my appointment. I told her I was waiting for almost 10 mins. And she bluntly denied saying that I called u and it went to voicemail and I was waiting until 11:15. So, I decided to reschedule it for next day same time and go 5 mins early of my appointment to make sure all goes well. Tuesday I reach at 10:55am for my 11am appointment. Again Devon comes out and says in our records we see that you dog has matting issues. Did you comb ur dog well. I said yes. I bought a comb from your store and have brushed well. She then checks and says okay I can spot 1 Matt, but otherwise he is okay. I told them to cut 0.5cm short. And requested if they can complete by 1:30pm so that I can pick him up as I had a meeting from 3-5 pm. She said , 11am is his appointment but it will get over only by 3pm. And she said let me see if we can have him after that as we don’t take dogs out to pee. And then she calls at 4pm that day while I am in a meeting and leaves a text saying - “ If it's possible could someone come and get your dog soon? I know you said you would be in a meeting but we had to take him out of the kennel because he made his paws bleed digging at the door. He also had an accident on the floor.”
Just imagine how as an owner I would feel to read that msg. I had to rush to Petco Bothell only to see that they had him tied down while grooming 3 other dogs with full hair on the floor. And she had totally trimmed all the hair on my dog. More than what I mentioned. And the skin near his nails were red and sore. I wonder what she was doing as a groomer in charge of my dog. Such a careless , rude and worst groomer I have seen. I was still being rightful and paid the bill and got out of that store.
Never go to Bothell Petco. Worst service. I am never going there ever.

First time for grooming and Victor took care of my dog. He showed me how process works and I agreed for de matting process if there presence. My dog is Miniature Poodle weighs 10lbs. He said there will be other dogs in line so probably 4-6 hrs will take including all process and I said “What’s the appointment for if I have to consider other dogs?” He dodged that question. I instructed him to remove the hair in my dog’s ears too. So my dog taken care by 9:15 then got text by 02:50 pm says ready for pick up. Imagine a mini poodle 10lbs groomed by almost 6 hrs? And now my dog was just simply shaved down so bad, like bald rat and the face was not neatly groomed. (Teddy face my a**) Hair still intact in my dog’s ear. Her paws fur still peaking out. And I saw my bill had charged 7$ for dematting and TWICE?! Shes like so small breed! How did they come up with extra 14$ for dematting a 10lbs dog. Next time maybe not Victor anymore.

I shop at this location a LOT I have 7 animals and this last time I saw that 12 pack of cat food cans was $10 but when I got to the cashier it was doubled and I was shocked. The attendant gave me 25% off but it still felt wrong when it was not put in the wrong place by the staff. Quite the price shock for how hard times are for people.

I arrived at Petco 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment, expecting a smooth check-in for my dog's grooming session. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the presence of staff, I was informed that only the groomer could check us in, leading to an unnecessary wait even though another employee appeared to be unoccupied.
When I inquired if the available staff member could assist with the check-in, she excused herself to the bathroom, leaving me puzzled and unattended. Post-grooming, another employee approached me with a lecture on respecting their check-in policy, which I found rather condescending and unprofessional.
The haircut provided to my dog was average, not compensating for the service issues encountered. This experience has led me to decide against using Petco's services in the foreseeable future.

I took my friends cat in on 03/02 to get some vaccines updated. Our appointment was at 4pm and we were told to come early. We did come early and were checked in about 10 minutes prior to the appointment. We waited 25 minutes past our appointment time to even be acknowledged by staff. There was a group of people who had 6 animals before us (I have no idea if they were walk ins or not) someone needs to be on top of scheduling because having an elderly stressed out cat just sitting amongst a ton of dogs is not a healthy or good experience. The appointment was SCHEDULED so we could be in and out and mitigate stress on the animal. I can understand scheduling mishaps but at least communicate that is what’s happening so we can decide to take the cat to the car if we have to wait 25 minutes.

I was initially nervous when taking Lucky for grooming at Petco Bothell for the first time. However, I must commend Esperanza for her fantastic job. I am thoroughly pleased with the haircut and grooming service provided. Thank you, Esperanza!

TLDR: Healthy fish! Helpful cashier!I came here to check out the fish because they're having a great sale. I think it's safe to say Petco is *not known* for having healthy fish. BUT! Bothell Petco is DIFFERENT! The aquatics specialist actually *is* a specialist, and told me she's been with Petco 27 years in the aquatics department. Her fish are happy and healthy, and all the tanks are clean, and no contraindicated fish were being kept together. This is a phenomenon I've found exceedingly rare at Petco! Also, when I found a mistake on my receipt the next day, the cashier was more than happy to work with me to fix it. Overall great ?
