This is the 3rd time I have shown up with 5 min till closing and the light says OPEN and I was left standing outside with locked doors- One staff saw me and chose to just turn around and keep walking at 6:58pm on a sunday. I raced here to get here before closing after my work shift(6:30) so my dogs have food for tonight- I now have to figure out an additional option when I can only get the food from Mudbay. bare minimum opening the door and saying We actually are already closed so sorry would of been better. I would go to other locations if close to closing as this one closes early often.

Typical Mud Bay. Feels a bit more dog centered than cat. Decent selection, prices a little high. But the fur babes love their fur mice and orca, so that’s what counts.

We love this place. The team is always friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of bulk treats and wool toys. Great all around.

First time visit. Prices pretty comparable to other retailers but I don't know enough about the products to know if they're going to do the trick so I'll give 4 stars and maybe update later.

This is one of the best pet stores for keeping pets healthy and happy . They have a large variety of dog and cat food. I bought a toy and birthday cookie for a puppy bday party!!! He loved them. The employees were helpful and welcoming. Thank you

I feel sorry sorry for the employees that work at this store, because they are absolutely a delight, and deserve much better than this store. This store is an absolute mess. First it is very hard to get into and difficult to find. Then on top of that they are never able to keep up on stock. The employees are forced to write little hand written notes all over like "manufacturer out of stock" for hundreds of items throughout the store. This applies to many different types of food from many different manufacturer's, so you know it is all untrue. Unfortunately, the company is putting their workers through this.

I don't know how mud bay is doing this but all pet store chains should learn from them when it comes to hiring amazing employees. The staff at this mud bay store (as with every other mud bay store I've been to really) are just so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable. Thank you as well for the freebies when I went in to purchase treats for my dog's birthday. You guys are the best and I'll continue to shop here mainly because of the amazing people that work here. Thanks for also taking the time to always listen when I'm trying to figure out the best treat or food for my very picky pup. I can always trust the staff here to have my pup's best interest at heart!! I can also feel the love they have for animals and it really makes each shopping trip a positive and wonderful experience. Thank you ?

Amazing staff, helpful and informative. Really appreciate their trial comp samples, few time, with puppies and with grown dogs, I was able to find right food for them easily, thank to Mud Bay. Will always be my first choice in pet supplies.

The customer service here was top notch, all staff was very friendly and well educated on the product. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store and never felt discouraged from asking questions. My dog says thank you! He clears his bowl faster than ever.

The two people who were working there today around 10:30am were unwelcoming and rude to me. I walked in and they didn’t greet me, which I thought maybe they just didn’t see me. But as I got closer to one of the workers (clearly looking lost as I was looking for a specific brand and couldn’t find it), the gal still didn’t acknowledge me, but said “welcome in!” to a customer that had just walked in. So I said to myself, “okay, I will find something that will work and and be on my way quickly” as I felt uncomfortable. I gathered what I needed and waited for the gal at the counter to wave me up. She was wearing a mask and called me up, but I’m hard of hearing and tried to apologize if I was rude for approaching as I couldn’t hear her. She barely acknowledged me, asked if I wanted to use a number and if I wanted my receipt, and that was all for that interaction of my transaction with barely any eye contact. For the context of why they were rude to me, it was probably because I looked exhausted, had my puppy’s fur all over me (Finnish Spitz breed, lots of hair!) and dirty tennis shoes. I am moving to a new home that are 5 hours away from each other, and had to take a 2 hour morning trek in traffic to drop my husband off at work in the Canyon Park area with a very distraught puppy who insisted on riding on my lap (uncomfortably) most of the way. All of my clothes are in storage, and our yard is ripped apart due to a new septic field, so dirt has ruined my only pair of shoes that I currently have available. My husband insisted I stop by to grab a treat and toy for our puppy for our long trek home, and I told him never to go to this location again because I was treated poorly. He works right next to this store and shops there regularly before coming home, but unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere. Perhaps the employees of this store should be trained on customer service and general kindness towards people, even if someone looks unkempt. Moving for the last week and dealing with a stressed out puppy takes my time, my appearance does not, and I didn’t need to be ignored and treated with judgment during this stressful time in my life. Love the products, do not like this store anymore.

Great people with knowledge and a love of animals that shows. I haven't had a negative interaction with an employee yet. Megan always goes above and beyond with explaining different food options and why one may be a better fit than another. Her "Where the wild thinks are" wild thing pick is kinda garbage tho. ??

I dropped in to Bothell Mudbay on a whim to buy kitten supplies for someone in community who requested help with her new pet. Staff was very helpful in helping this dog person pick out kitten dry food and flea comb. She also offered me free cat toys and free kitten wet food to give plus a $10 coupon on my purchase. So very helpful and supportive. Thank you for helping support a member of our community.

Fantastic store and people for fantastic pets. The staff was super helpful in picking out food, toys, and other items for our new dog. They actually knew what they were talking about which I feel a lot of large chain stores, do not. The location has a good amount of parking, is a good size store with lots of options, and kept very clean and tidy. Of course pets are welcome inside and if it's your first time going in for your dog, you may get a special surprise when checking out! Highly recommend this place. We'll be going regularly.
