Saturday, I brought my adult son into the Great Clips in Redmond [17181 Redmond Way #1500, Redmond, WA 98052] where I understand that Rungfa was styling just for the day in that location.
I googled her name to find the location where she regularly works, and believe it is this store in Bothell. You might be asking why it would be so important for me to make the effort to find Rungfa to write a review.
As a mother, I cannot express enough gratitude for Rungfa. My son, who has been struggling with disabilities, was in dire need of a haircut—a simple yet significant step towards regaining self-esteem.
When he walked in, his appearance might have signaled many things (from his unkempt hair and beard, and worn-out clothes), but from the moment we entered the salon, Rungfa greeted my son with a warm, reassuring smile that told him he was respected and valued. She helped ease his anxiety and made him feel at ease. It wasn’t just a haircut; it was an act of kindness that acknowledged his humanity and worth at a time when society often looks away.
As Rungfa skillfully removed his long, tangled hair, and shaved off his beard, it seemed as if she was also cutting away some of the burdens that he has been carrying. By the end of the session, he looked like a new person—more confident, uplifted, and hopeful.
I am exceedingly thankful for Rungfa’s empathy and professionalism. Who she is, the very work of her hands, highlights the profound gift of treating everyone with kindness, regardless of their circumstances.

I went in for a hair trim and bang cut, I asked for my bangs to be cut right above my eyebrow line and they were cut about half an inch shorter than that in the middle of my forehead. On top of them being shorter they were not cut straight across, it was was a very sharp angle and the face framing was uneven.The chick who did the haircut said, ‘well you said you wanted them shorter,’ and started to blame me for her mess up.I had to book an appointment at another salon (one which I should have went to instead of trying to save a buck by going here) for my bangs to be fixed.I highly recommend not coming here.

Great Clips Canyon Park Place Bothell WA. Great!!! My stylist/ beautician's name is Sylvia, she is wonderful. She listens to what you want, how you want it done, and gives great advice when asked. Very professional!!

I came in because I had accidentally cut the front of my hair too short and I needed help. The hair on my side and back were completely fine except they were a little long and I was only looking for a trim. However, when the hair stylist starting cutting the top to make it even she started cutting the back and the sides shorter, and shorter. At first I wasn't too worried but when she was finished for the 1st time. It looked awful, it was a bowl cut with a a big rattail. I should have said it was fine and leave to go to a different place. But unfortunately I made the mistake of staying there. Luckily my mom was there to tell it was horrible and insist of maybe making the back and sides shorter like a fohawk. And at the beginning of the haircut I specifically told her I did not want anything shaved. But as soon as she started cutting for the second time she instantly grabbed the clippers and cut it on the side and mostly the back leaving a tiny rattail. I was horrified. As soon as I got back to the car I put my head in on the steering wheel and sobbed. This is the absolute worst haircut of my life. I don't care if other people say it's not bad, I just feel so ugly. This place did me so dirty and I have to live with her mistake. i miss my old hair and I miss how pretty it was.
