Recommend not using Trojan Storage for storage. Since renting a unit from mid-2020, we have seen multiple price increases even though advertised pricing for new tenants is significantly lower. Inquiring about the increases, we are told if we want new pricing we would need to move to a new unit or we can vacate and go somewhere else. They do this knowing good and well that there is significant hassle of moving so customers will likely opt to just eat the increase. For a small/medium unit (recommend for a 1br apartment) on an upper floor we have seen our monthly rate go from $98 to now $271 in the span of 3.5yrs. Renters beware, don’t fall for their get you in the door prices as once you’re in, you will see regular price increases.

Original Review:Literally received a call on Thursday, and explicitly confirmed that they would be OPEN on Sunday. Was told "yes", until 4 pm. Rented a truck to move our stuff, and cannot get in, because SURPRISE they have a piece of paper taped on the door (not changed online, apparently not told to the guy who we talked to on the phone... ).No thanks. You'll get the bill for the uhaul and I want a refund.Update:I am changing my review to 3 stars from 1 after speaking with the person who was filling in and who explained the situation. I ended up getting everything sorted, but not on the same day. I think that the corporate office needs to invest more in their staff, who are clearly overworked.The facilities are very clean, and it is nice to have so many carts. The price, even after the promotion ends, is better than what I was able to get for the same size unit elsewhere.I wish the hours of access were just a little later, but I don't have to access the unit often, so it isn't a huge deal.

Terrible customer service with out email updates to changes and uninformed staff. Changed storage to Public Storage and much better stuff and rates.

Absolutely amazing customer service I received from John the manager. I was a bit skeptical since some of the reviews are a bit rough. But, I took the chance and went in anyway. Met with John and he walked me through the whole process. He was super knowledgeable, thorough, and above all a genuine person who seems to really care about his customers. Rare find in this industry. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family because of him. When you go there ask for John! He’ll show you what you need to do. Thank you, John!

We got a call the other day double-checking when we were coming to get our unit, and we said SUNDAY. The person on the phone said someone would be here until 4pm. It's 3:30 and NO ONE is here. We have a full truck full of stuff! What are we supposed to do now? We drove 30 mins to get here. Why didn't the person on the phone say something?! Zero stars from us.

I recognize the handoff from SmartCube to Trojan wasn’t the smoothest.The people I've dealt with at Bothell 2 are helpful, but I too am having issues with autopay not working, being charged late fees because my autopay didn't take, and being charged for insurance after providing proof of insurance.1/1/23: We have successfully resolved the bumpy start to our relationship and I have revised my rating. I thank them for working with me and I’m looking forward to continuing my relationship with Trojan.

When it was CubeSmart it was fantastic. Now that it's Trojan I have had nothing but problems. Auto pay didn't transfer over so I try going in to get it set up AGAIN and no one was there. I try calling on a Monday and the mail box is full, let alone no one answering the phone. Their online pay link doesn't work. Just horrible. Go elsewhere for storage. I know I will be ASAP!

This facility *used* to be amazing. CubeSmart was a solid company who hired great staff and actually cared about their customers and their experience. Trojan recently bought either the company or this facility individually, and I have had nothing but the worst experience I have ever had with a storage facility. I transferred all of my billing account information, etc. to Torjan immediately after receiving their notice. I came by to get my luggage for a trip this evening, and not only had they removed my PIN access, they also CHANGED THE LOCK ON MY UNIT. Without so much as asking or even notifying me. Needless to say, awful company, awful experience, I will be moving my things ASAP, granted they let me access them at all. 'Outraged' is an understatement, I am completely disgusting at being treated this way, especially when their predecessors were so reliable and lovely.

Mitchell made it very easy to start the rental process. Every time I came in to pay, he always recognized me and even remembered my name.
