“I could spend all day in this store. It's local, community-centered, and they have everything you're looking for plus many things you didn't know you needed ? You can even take a break in the little food court. My favorite is the Mediterranean place. But back to books. Buy them!”
“Overall great store for MTG players, tabletop gamers and comics fans.Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable staff. Simply put- They just get it, and they just do things right. Every one of the dozens of times I have purchased something, usually singles, it has been a fantastic experience among multiple different staff members. Thanks yall!Wednesday night commander usually fills the place. You can easily go solo and find a game within minutes if you do things appropriately. Just sit and wait or ask around.Ofcorse it's downtown Seattle and prices are a bit higher, but they also have some great deals. If the prices and prize support were a bit better, I would give them 5 stars, even 6 stars if I could. But again I don't fault them for it. Retail rent is expensive in Seattle, and its not the most lucrative type of business. Don't get me wrong the prices are fair, just a lil bit higher than most shops I go to outside of the city.I would love to see the pauper and modern event turn out increase a bit. I wish I could make it more often myself. Players, let's make it happen!”
“Ada's I love you but please make your breakfast sandwich less vertical!!!! It's delicious but I need to unhinge my jaw to eat it, and it becomes very messy.”

I have found so many lovely gems I may have never done otherwise at their themed recommendation tables in the front. The employees have great taste, and seem super passionate about the store and the books they're selling. This is absolutely my bookstore of choice.”
“Charming small shop with mostly new and some used books sprinkled throughout. Organization is really chaotic with fun categories like “When You’re Feeling Witchy”—maybe not optimal if you’re looking for a specific title but awesome for discovering something unexpected.”
“This is such a great bookstore! They have a wide variety of topics, all excellently stocked. The staff is super helpful as well! There is a great cafe/restaurant connected to the bookstore that you should definitely check out during you're visit! I would recommend the Chai!”
“Newer, smaller location but with plenty of variety. Curated selection, makes up for the lack of overall volume. Decent spot for a quick gift or checking out a newer book”

15600 NE 8th St, Bellevue“Small book store with reasonably priced books. Was glad to see so much was in good condition, too many used bookstores sell poor condition books for too high a price. Also a tiny little collection of used games and electronics in the back, a welcome surprise.”

1403 NE 50th St, Seattle“Amazing little theater with super friendly staff and comfy seats. Only about 50 seats though, so I’d recommend buying tickets ahead of time. So far I’ve seen two films here, and I plan to keep coming back.”
“The dude running this place is awesome! Had a really good conversation with him, very passionate and knowledgeable. Respects everyone’s tastes too, great selection and organization. Good prices too”
“I stop by here on occasion to look for their varied selection of incense and oils, and the staff is incredibly kind and friendly every time. There is one man with long gray hair who occasionally works the cashier who's always a joy to talk to whenever I come in. I remember coming in wearing a NiGHTS Into Dreams shirt once and he was fascinated by it and asked who the character on it was. I'm going to miss this place when I leave.”
“Still one of the best bookstores around.
Lots of books and magazines, well maintained facility, knowledgeable and friendly staff and an in store Starbucks makes it my most visited place around.”
“The University book store is an extremely nice University book store. Very well kept with an amazing variety of student study need supplies and an amazing, very helpful staff. Love this store.”
“Lots of great stuff to buy and super helpful and knowledgeable staff. I needed to buy some binoculars and the staff spent over 15 minutes with me trying out a couple pairs and patiently explaining the differences. Great cause, great shop, great staff!”
“Absolutely LOVE this place!!!! One of the best bookstores ever and the library is even better. The younger guy working the library was such a bright lovely light and made my visit there so amazing. He was friendly and told me all the history of the shop as well gave me a brochure for the classes and workshops there are. Can’t say enough about the experience i had here, highly recommend, love the staff, love the book collections, love the tarot collections. They have it all! 10/10”

7805 Leary Wy, Redmond“I've tried other Half Price Books but this location has by far the best LGBTQ+ section of fiction books - by authors that I know. It's always hit or miss in this genre but it's nice to find a store that actually carries these on a regular basis. I check them out regularly.”
“This was my go-to for resources for nearly 30 years ago, and now I'm coming back for fun stuff for my GRANDS!! It never gets old! I still love shopping here (regardless if they homeschool or not) - its always a treasure hunt!!”
“Good size store, strange arrangement and selection though. Things were not where I expected them and some books were not in their section but were on a random featured table.”

600 128th St SE, Everett“This nature walk is delightful. There are some shaded portions of their boardwalk that have gotten a bit funky with algae or something that can make it a bit slippery, and I suggest only going on dry days if you have any mobility impairments.Their artificial stream/fish viewing area is unfortunately skippable. Every time I’ve looked it’s been so dirty/murky there was nothing to see. I feel that it could be better maintained.Their hours are also a bit limited and I really wish they were open on Sundays as that is usually the day my family likes to go on nature walks. But I love the walk and I love supporting the foundation through membership and their cute little shop.”

22611 76th Ave W suite 101, Edmonds“It's a good comic book store. There are lots of items to look at, and a good collection of back stock comics at decent prices. My only gripe, they won't let you look thru the silver age boxes behind the counter. They respond with, "What are you looking for in particular?". When I just want to see what they have, maybe find something worth buying. Other than that. It's a good store!”
“Always has a pretty good selection and everyone is very nice! I go mainly to scour for Warhammer books and there is usually a solid pick. Also nice selection or TTRPGs and sometimes Magic cards!”
“Such a warm, cozy and lovely bookstore with a really sweet and inviting owner! Great variety of brand new and gently used books, featuring new releases, classics and a wide range of genres! Was so glad to find just the book I was looking for (The Kite Runner) at such a steal, and I really loved the warm cozy ambience of this place, with 2 huge armchairs right at the entrance perfect for reading ☺️Travelled 45 minutes to Kirkland for this bookstore and would definitely recommend! Please do support this local mom and pop store and keep them running and providing great reads for the community for a long time Noticed that they also have a book club which meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6.30PM, for anyone looking for community events and discussions ☺️”
“Overall, a great book store. The person working the counter was very knowledgeable and nice. While their collection is beyond impressive. Lots of Russian books from fiction to history to philosophy. It's a great place for anyone interested in books. Highly recommend.”

“Amazing vollection of movies! One of the few places that has a good amount to look through. The staff was excellent and quite patient with my dad's wuestions. He is quite the movie collector! Love this place”
“the cafe is Starbucks, great barista! but unfortunately not a good place to read a book.. guys with laptops making business phone calls (loudly) dominate and total ambient noise/ music/ cafe noise adds up too :/”
“A peaceful place, open to all people irrespective of their background. The Swami( priest) are so welcoming. You will be impressed by the knowledge of Vedanta swami’s have. The classes and after classes talks are enlightening. One can ask swami his / her question and doubts freely. The Monastery hosts a number of activities including - Pooja ( devotional singing), library, discourses on Vedanta , service to community, children program(teaching values to children’s). Must visit here once.”
“I stumbled upon this charming bookstore and instantly fell in love with its cozy atmosphere. The shelves are filled with a diverse selection of books to suit every taste. What sets this bookstore apart is its support for local artisans, offering a range of locally made items that add to the store's unique charm. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making the browsing experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a welcoming bookstore with a great selection and a commitment to supporting local businesses, look no further. Highly recommended!”
