This store is an absolute disaster every time I come in. The people working there are doing their best but it’s such a mess. Hire people and pay them well so you can keep staff.

Every time we visit this store it’s pulling teeth to get a mouse. All the employees hang out in the break room at once and ignore the call from the cashier. Horrible customer service. If there was another one closer I’d go or go to a petsmart.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Petco that truly deserves a 5-star review. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me with all my pet needs. It's clear that the employees at Petco are passionate about animals and are well-trained to provide excellent advice and support.
One of the standout aspects of my visit was the fair pricing. Petco offers a wide range of high-quality products at prices that are very reasonable. Whether I was looking for pet food, toys, or accessories, I found everything I needed without breaking the bank. It's refreshing to shop at a place where I feel I'm getting good value for my money.
The helpfulness of the staff cannot be overstated. They went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for, and they provided useful tips on pet care and maintenance. I had several questions about my new puppy, and their guidance was both thorough and practical. It's rare to find such a combination of excellent customer service and expertise in one place.
Overall, Petco has earned my loyalty with their knowledgeable staff, fair prices, and exceptional service. The customer service is lacking. Very common to wait a LONG time for crickets ever since they moved the bulk bins away from the front counters. Often difficult to find an employee to help. If you buy the prepackaged superworms, waxworms, or crickets check them carefully because often half are dead already.

I am discouraging ANYONE from paying for training classes provided by PETCO. I was a loyal returning customer in years previous. I've taken 3 puppies through the training with Petco and I was happy with the service provided. But This time I am the furthest from satisfied you could be. First off I had to try over and over to pay for the group online. Their payment processing wouldn't work for 4 days straight (maybe a sign from God I shouldnt have kept trying because man I regret the effort and time and money I spent to get these training classes. The First group the trainer talked about herself and did basically no training and then sent me home with a sheet of paper telling me what I needed to teach my dog over the next week as " homework" with little explaining. If I wanted to have to figure out how to train my dog all on my own I'd of saved my money and watched YouTube videos which is ultimately what I've resorted to doing and they have been WAY MORE INFORMATIVE AND FREE! I contacted customer service and requested a partial refund since I had gone to some "training" but after numerous attempts to get help resolving I again contacted requesting a full refund and expressing my absolute disappointment with the company's response and services. To which I have still after 3 weeks received ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. What's worse is I bought multiple training classes at the same time so not only have I lost money but I've lost a large amount of money for a ton of training my puppy isn't going to receive. I can't speak for every Petco location but I warn against putting your hard earned money into specifically the BONNEY LAKE WASHINGTON location with trainer KIM. Nothing against her personally but she's not doing what Petco promised in her "training services '

This Petco is not the greatest in my opinion. No cats (adoption center), most of the fish tanks are under observation. The store is also weirdly laid out, and there were no employees anywhere. (The Dalmatian Molly's were cute AF though)

I couldn't access some of the items I needed to shop for, because there were pallets of boxes in front of the shelves. Also, some items I wanted appeared to be out of stock. The reptile area in this site is set up weird, and it's hard to find what I need. The two employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The store was mostly sufficient for what I needed (crickets & frozen mice), but I ended up purchasing about 2/3 of what I needed elsewhere (reptile heat, lighting & decor), due to the shelf access, stock issues, and high prices.
