“I was helped by Dan at the Tacoma store. He told me he normally works at the Auburn store. I had to load by hand 13 paving stones that weighed 92 pounds each. I am almost a senior citizen and not in the best shape. Also, I had a Toyota Tacoma which will not fit a standard pallet. Dan found a smaller pallet that would fit and helped me load the bricks on the pallet. This allowed him to load all of them neatly in my Tacoma. I was worried about loading the materials, but Dan took great care of me. I have shopped a Mutual Materials many times and I have always found the staff to exceptional.”

“HOTDOG STAND ONLY!!!!! The only reason I come to this horrible place is for the hotdog stand upfront. They make a fantastic hotdog. I don't go in...just for the dogs. It's pricey but good.”
“This location seems to have turned around from its extremely poor customer service history! I am a senior, and was attempting to get a few 2x12x12 boards down for a project. An Asian employee, older gentleman, came to help me without being asked! Amazing! I was able to get them cut right away too, and at checkout the young lady was far far more personable than the witch I've had to tolerate before ( hopefully she had been let go). Long story short, a very pleasant experience at three different customer contact points (getting heavy lumber down, getting it cut properly, and a very pleasant checkout). Couldn't be happier about this new direction!”

“Never had a bad experience here, staff have always been very helpful and pointing me in the right directions of new sales that I'm looking for that are on the end caps. Military discount is applied to most items, but not everything in store. I don't understand why numerous companies hand pick which items will get a Military discount and others will not, but it's not the end of the world. Have found the dedicated parking for veterans a BEAUTIFUL thing, as sometimes the place is packed and it saves me from having to walk extremely far to where I'm trying to shop in. I recommend this location as a place to shop, as you will always get/find what you need extremely quickly.”
