A really fantastic place here. Twice now in the past few months our pup was scheduled to be seen the same day with one phone call. Dropped him off, the tech took careful notes on his condition, and a couple hours later we picked him up along with a diagnosis and appropriate medication. Competent and friendly, all. Reccomend

I have been taking my 2 dogs here for about 3 years now. I have a APBT and a chihuahua. Pricing is very affordable and I have always been able to get my dogs to be seen fairly quick and not waiting months for an appointment. Love the staff and vets, very in tune with the animals and good at reading body language . I use to live in blaine which that was close but we moved to bham and still make the drive because I trust them and my dogs don't freak out when we get their.

Took care of our 2 elderly labs right to the end. Really exceptional with helping families say “goodbye”. They have also taken care of our 2 litter mates, sister- Harlie and brother-Tank from Pups to now over 4. Great at making you and your pets feel welcome.

The TV didn't work and there were no batteries in the remote. But the place was clean, and quiet and the night manager accommodated my truck and trailer in the parking lot.

Super helpful staff, they were able to connect with my local vet back in TX to confirm her medication prescription and fill it same day. One happy pup! Thanks Northwest Veterinary! - Briiar

Always have a very positive experience with Dr. Johner and all the staff at the clinic. Even though we moved a bit away, we still come back for the majority of their care.

We took a little princess in for dental problems, they did an awesome job, we're very reasonable, and she is doing great. Next Wednesday our little Nessie goes in for dental problems and teeth cleaning and as I expect the same great treatment and success. They're all awesome especially Missy Horton at the front counter

I've taking my pets here for several year. Doc was extremely compassionate when I had to put down both my dogs. Very informative and professional.

We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here bringing our 2 border collies, and 1 cat. Even through Covid they were always very respectful and helpful with all of our pets needs! I’ve never seen a dog so excited to go to into a vets office before and eagerly await to see her favorite doctor (Dr.Johner) … I believe dogs sense of people are greater than ours could ever be.. so if Our dog, Tinker approves— then it makes it even easier to give them 5 stars and easily recommend to anyone looking for a great vet in the area!

Absolutely no compassion!! My mother and I had booked an emergency appointment for euthanasia for our elderly family dog. Was told to bring her and they would take care of her. We arrive at the clinic where Dr.Money grabber (Johner), proceeds to belittle and bully us, telling us our dog is no longer a patient of his after not being seen for two years. Mind you, there’s been a global pandemic the last couple years and the clinic wasn’t seeing patients except for emergencies! So the lecture about her teeth needing be cleaned was kind of a moot point when you’ve got a thirteen year old tumor riddled dog who hasn’t eaten/drunk anything in two days and has lost her continence. But thanks for the helpful lecture and offer to do $180 of bloodwork. The office that actually took care of us took one look and knew immediately it was time.In short, if you need compassionate, respectful care for your animal, go literally anywhere else.

This man doesn’t even deserve one star! My mother had to make the difficult decision to put down her beloved fur baby. This vet was incredibly cruel and treated my mother with such disrespect. He refused to put down a dying dog that was clearly in so much pain. We went to the kind people at the emergency vet who had no problem performing the procedure and were so caring to both our dog and family.

Was horrible to my grandma. Had a had decision to make a vary had decision for her vary sick and vary old dog. She was 13 years old with cancer. The vet just made my grandmother feel like it was her fault and she was a horrible pet owner when that is not true at all. So when it comes time for u to have to make a heart braking decision. Don't go to them.
