I find amazing things in this store. Knowing the money is supporting the local Humane Society is a win. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They don't take cash just like other stores. Plus they take donations. Unlike the two big corporate owned "Thrift Stores" in my area this is truly a non profit.

A fun little place with a constantly changing collection of items. And even the smallest purchase helps the animals. A $4 purchase buys an animal a meal.

Wow, I've been here many times and have found lots of gems! The store is entirely run by volunteers and all proceeds go to a great cause. Every-time I have gone I have felt welcomed by their amazing volunteers. Prices are very reasonable compared to bigger thrift stores such as Goodwill & Value Village. They have a smaller store so selection is limited, but they have all the things such as clothes, housewares, books, etc! Things to note: The store is only open W-Sat and ONLY takes card (no cash is accepted).

Why put signs along the street saying to stop by when the store isn't even open. Walked up to the door, all the lights were on but doors locked. While sitting in my car to write this review I saw several other folks park and walk to the door and get equally confused.

great prices, friendly volunteers working for a great cause. they also have good quality items of value since they kindly ask that people don’t just dump their leftover garbage like some thrift stores.

If you like thrifting, you must check out the whatcom humane society thrift shop. It's a small store but they move a lot of merchandise and you pay yard sale prices rather than thrift store prices. It is manned by volunteers and 100% of the profit goes to supporting what can humane society's three divisions: domestic animals, wildlife rehabilitation and farm animals. Your fur babies are welcome to shop with you and will generally get a treat for coming. The only downside is the thrift store is only open Friday through Sunday. Update: The store does not accept cash. Credit or debit cards only.

A good place to donate because it helps the animals. Also, Value Village is terrible, so when I go thrift shopping, I have a much better experience at real charitable organizations, like this.

I went in the Thrift Shop to find a leash for my dog. Leashes there sold for between 50 cents and a dollar! The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was a treasure trove. Highly recommend this store…not just for dog related items…but for almost everything.

This thrift store is run by volunteers and the proceeds go to the Humane Society. So if you shop here your supporting a great cause. They are only open on Weekends Friday through Sundays and only accept debit/credit as payment. No cash or check. The have a big variety of items to look at and great prices. They don't mark up there items like a lot of other thrift shops do. Be sure to check them out and give your support if your ever in the area. They also take donations. Be sure and check the website for what items they accept.
