“Friendly staff and vets. I just didn't like the pricing on the Vax I could have given to my puppy much cheaper. I went in there to check a skin issue on him and walked out with 2 vaccines administered. Ya, win some and lose some. Price ya pay when owning a puppy overall. I can not complain they were nice to me, my son, and my baby pitbull.”

The costs were presented in list form that they walked me through line by line, all associated medication (anti- anxiety, anti- nausea and pain) were complimentary. Very clear communication before and after the procedure. Reasonable pricing. Excellent care and attention. Very happy with this clinic!”

While we loved our vet in Ferndale, we switched to one in town that also offered Saturday options.

I have taken both of my cats here for wellness checks and vaccines for my newest kit. Everyone has been extremely nice, knowledgeable, and overall very careful to ease both anxious cats.

I've seen some negative reviews about price gouging... and I just haven't experienced that. In fact, when they provided the kitten exam for a kitten I adopted through the Alternative Humane Society the vet noticed his liver might have been enlarged and wanted to see him after a few more months of growing. We came back for a follow up, and they took Finley to do a quick check, and he was fine. They did not charge me for the visit which I was thankful for.

“Came in here over a year ago and I wasn't the nicest to the doctor. Fast forward and year later and I came in to the same doctor with an extreme emergency with my German shepherd. They took care of him right away. Unfortunately my dog passed away during surgery and they were very helpful and very supportive. Receiving a card just a week after seeing they donated to the arbor day foundation and planted a tree in his name in a fire recovery program was amazing. Very thankful for this place.”

“Our Shepard mix had his teeth ultrasonically cleaned today without the use of anesthesia. The short procedure went very well. Besides being much less costly than with the use of anesthesia the procedure is safer with little risk, unlike with anesthesia. He had his vitals checked before the procedure.”

“I am very grateful for my experience today with AEC, although it ended up being a very sad day for our family the way the staff handled everything from initial phone call to facilitating my pets remains will forever be appreciated by us.
Everyone was incredibly kind and patient to my cat and myself, and the vet was very clear with her communication, gave me a myriad of options to pick from, and the pricing was given for every possibility. I really appreciate her feedback when I decided on euthanasia, every pet parent has that little "what if??" in the back of their mind. It helped a lot to have validation I was making the most compassionate and logical choice even though it felt awful.
Everyone was kind and respectful during my final moments with my cat, allowing me to lead the pace of when things happened.
In the blur of overwhelm/trauma/grief, I made a choice in how to handle her remains in a way that didn't sit right with me hours later, and I called the clinic to see if it was too late to change my mind and bring her home for burial. The receptionist was so sweet and understanding, and was able to facilitate that change of plans. They had my kitty tucked away in a box for safe carrying, and I really appreciate that I am still able to have the final visual of my sleeping kitty in my mind. I was afraid my choice had the potential to be traumatizing, so THANK YOU so much for being mindful of that!
All in all, like I said for a sad day I couldn't have asked things to go smoother and I am very grateful to the morning staff today for all of their empathy and support. You have a very, very special, very difficult job so thank you for doing what you do, you make a difference for patients like me!”

“I had to bring in our cat to be put down and Village Veterinary Hospital was wonderful in a bad situation. I appreciated that they had a protocol for bringing the owners and their pet into the clinic that minimized contact with other people. The veterinary and the vet tech, were compassionate and patient while explaining the process. I was planning on using a local pet cremation business and they had the required paperwork for that business so that our cat could be picked up and I did not have to go to that business to make arrangements. I appreciate the efficiency that Village Veterinary Hospital was able to provide in providing the needed care to our cat, as well as me.”

“I would give more stars if I could. When we needed a travel health certificate Dr. Lee and her team got us in on short notice, and worked hard to make sure that we had all of the documents needed. They coordinated with USDA to make sure all of the documents would be accepted. They were proactive in identifying and solving potential slowdowns as well as proactively researching issues related to our dog's vaccinations. They thought through the problem with us an found solutions that worked. Through all of it they were patient, good natured, and professional.

I was very pleased and impressed how smooth the visit went. I took my boy back to get neutered and they handled it so well. The staff is very kind and understanding toward difficult dogs. Life with a reactive dog isn't easy, but Fairhaven Vet took excellent care of him and put me at ease. There's no question I will be going to Fairhaven Vet for all my pet needs.”

They were very informative during the whole visit & even let me stay in the office while my pup was sedated for xrays.
