If you are gonna make people ring out their own stuff don’t have someone come stick their head over my shoulder and tell me how to do it cause the next time one of your employees touches me or my wife I will take it as an assault and I will start swinging.

I used to shop here frequently, but the prices of the items here have gotten too ridiculous, so I will be avoiding shopping here from now on.
One of the sweaters I saw today had a large glob of hardened on putty stuck to it for $9.99. A pair of pants I saw was priced at 29.99 (which is already incredibly expensive for any clothes at a thrift store) and it had the TJ Maxx tag still attached, which only cost 24.99 new! You give them your items you purchased for free, and corporate probably asks the workers to price it as high as possible so they can turn a huge profit, while making it inaccessible to low income people.
Places like the Assistance League or WHS thrift store almost always price clothing items under $10, and those shops help local charities. (Plus donating to local businesses is much easier in my opinion since there’s almost never a line)
Do your community and wallet a favor and find a local charity to donate items to and shop at instead.

Not even one star as far as I'm concerned. Remember this is a second hand store with donations given by us. Rude people working the front. Five people standing around socializing while you have to scan and bag your own items. No help to wrap your glass either . Disgusting customer service. I left a basket worth $100 I guess I'll spend it elsewhere.

Prices are basically the same or more as new items, so if you like to buy used stuff for high prices, this is a good place to come.
Please donate to small thrift stores that dont charge astronomical prices for used items

A lot of the clothes have stains. Prices are high for a thrift store. No fitting rooms and if the item doesnt work you cant return it

I went to donate some items yesterday at Value Village. The guy receiving items was so rude! I asked him if I could put my items to donate in tub and he said "no, and next time you donate put it in a bag or box you don't want"! He then throws a box into the tub and walks away. So I asked if he wanted me to put my items in the box in the tub and he says yeah and walks away. So freaking rude! I told him he didn't have to worry about me bringing back any other donations because I will be donating elsewhere. Not just rude people but over priced items as well. I won't be back.

I've been coming here for a long time, I've spent hundreds of dollars or more here. Overpriced? Yeah. But here's the issue. As I was checking out this morning an employee walks up on me "ya sure you got everything in your basket?!!!!" I said, I think so. I have a toddler and bag in the basket. Evidently there was something under the bag. But THEN she actually tried to grab my bag and look in it!!!!!!! Obviously absolutely nothing in it but my phone and keys but that crosses the line. Don't grab my personal belongings in front of my child, super inappropriate and rude. Not okay. Then I leave and realize the laundry basket I just bought for 6.99 is 7 dollars at Target THEN I get home and the thing (hard to notice at first glance) was freaking broken in several places. I'm done.
Got accused of stealing which I absolutely did not do. Please feel free to check any cameras. Got my personal bag grabbed in front of my 6 year old and then came home with overpriced broken stuff. After 5 years years, nope, never again. Absolutely done.

Wonderful store to find great used household items and clothing. From tableware to jeans, you will be saving money. The staff does an excellent job at sorting our the "garbage" from the "treasures". Budget shopping at its easiest!

A lady in the front of the parking lot right across in front of the doors blew tabaco in my 2 infants face. There's a law that states that smoking is prohibited from twenty feet from the building and in the parking lot but the workers did nothing about and let her get away with it no warning or anything. Workers are either too young and only care about their check not the customers or they're nieve and brush off the law I'm coming back and recording next time something like this happens so I can sue this place.

They charge more than the original price from stores! 20% discount & still more. Why would I pay more than the original price!

Nothing remarkable about this thrift store. Removed the dressing rooms, so you can't try anything on.
Months later, still the same experience.

ive been going to to value village for two years now with my little dog lilo. staff and customers love seeing her in the cart and she makes peoples day. today i got KICKED out for having her in the cart. she was asleep in the cart not disturbing anyone. a lady TOOK my items from my cart and told me to leave. i spent two hours in the store and didnt even get to purchase my items. value village do you expect pet owners to leave their emotional support animals in the car during the summer? are you going to be responsible for pet deaths? seems like it.

Went to shop for some items there was no tags for them so I went to the self check out wanting someone to view these items. Then I randomly accused of trying to “steal” the items when I told them there were no tags, they kept pressing me and telling me I have to leave and I couldn’t buy the other items that had tags on them. The workers were really rude and insulted me for trying to steal I felt betrayed after shopping there for many years.
