Claimed there was no authorized recipient for our package when they never knocked on the door. Left a redelivery note. When I called to schedule the delivery again they said that the only way to get the package that we paid to have delivered to our house is for someone to go to the post office and pick it up.

Whoever is doing the E Axton Rd mail deliveries tonight 8/30 is slamming on the gas and then slamming the brakes. We don't want him on our street again. For some stupid reason he wearing a mask. We have alot of dogs on our street and don't need some jacked up driver.

Firstly, their employee Paul did not greet me or speak to me when I came in. He did not say, "I'll be right with you". He took his time finishing what he was doing before he said anything to me. Secondly, when I asked for my general delivery item, he said, "General delivery is closed." Just like that. No apologies no explanation. When I stared at him he finally said, "It's only open 10:00 to 11:30." Wow, 10:00 to 11:30 only?? So, this is the last time that I use the post office for an urgent matter.I paid $30 to have my passports expressed mailed to me at this post office, care of general delivery, when I had forgot them on vacation. Pretty sure that for the same or lesser price, I could have had them sent to a UPS or FedEx store and picked them up till 9:00 p.m. Post office, get your act together or you're going to go out of business.
P. S. My husband went in after me, spoke to a different employee, and she grabbed them for him with no further question. They were six feet behind the employee Paul who had been so obstructionist.

I usually don't leave bad reviews because I have a pretty high tolerance for bad customer service. However, I did not expect to be gaslit at 9 am. Recently had a package that apparently needed a signature that I wasn't home to give (which is totally fine, I get it). However, there was no slip left at my door about the attempted delivery. I was able to figure it out and made a redelivery request online to just pick up the package at the P.O. When I went to pick it up the older gentleman at the counter was obviously frustrated that I didn't have the slip. I can understand that it might be an inconvenience, but I wasn't physically given one. I tried to show him my confirmation email and that's when things went downhill. He immediately started talking over me, going on and on about how they don't send emails and that it's a fraud. I was worried for a second that he was going to refuse to give me my package. I explained to him that it was an email directly from USPS that I got as a confirmation from THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITE that I visited and put my email into and confirmed that I was going to pick up at the office, but he continued to try to explain to me that it was fraudulent and how fraud works. I felt condescended to and like he was trying to make me feel stupid. I don't know if he's not up to date with how their website works and needs updated training or just needs a major attitude check (or both).

The worst USPS I’ve ever been to. Can only pickup general delivery from 10am - 1130am even if they’re empty.

This USPS is just fine. The low rating is probably due to bad USPS services on average across the country.
