I love The Markets. They're mostly in communities that high profit corporate grocers aren't going to bother with. I'm so thankful that we have Cost Cutter and The Market At Birch Bay here in Blaine. Sure, they can't offer Kroger or Costco prices due to purchase volume, but that's understandable. I'm also very impressed by their COVID-19 policies.

This place is a joke! You can get cheaper groceries at a convenience store. Probably better service to. Don’t get me started about the quality of the meat/seafood. Don’t waste your time

I Agree with A Google user. I too was denied my right to be exempt form the law. Also your right it is not responsible accommodations to ALL. Also as a essential business They cannot refuse entry to those who are exempted. I too will be shopping elsewhere. Thanks for the post

For those who are wondering about the markets no mask no service for (everybody including children under 2) Policy. It is a COMPANY POLICY and not law. The LAW and Health department clearly states. law: MOST people should wear a mask and that there are some people who are Medically EXEMPTED (meaning that law dose not apply to them). The Health department: people with breathing problems SHOULD NOT wear a mask. The law does however ask the company to Offer REASONABLY accommodation. Which they they OFFERED me. (The word offer is a optional form of service. It is not required for people who the mask law does not apply to because they are exempted to use OPTIONAL services.). The Markets is trying to enforce a law on everyone weather the law is applicable to them or not. So this is a COMPANY POLICY. Everywhere else that I have been to has allowed people exempted from the mask law access to their services. (If you do not believe me go to another grocery store tell them you are medically exempt and see if they allow you access to their good.) REASONABLE is a matter option I guess. To me it is not reasonable for those who are exempted to not have access to al their good and services including prices. Also to wait four hour is not responsible while other are being served in a timely manner. Another thing is it is not responsible for for us who are exempted from the law to be required to purchase a minimum of $20 for a “FREE” service. F.Y.I those who use food stamp and are exempted from the law you can not use their so called reasonable service because they are not set up for food stamp and because of their COMPANY POLICY you are not allowed in their store. For those who are exempted. I will save you a trip there. Here is a list of other grocery stores that expect the fact that are people who the mask law does not apply to or in other words EXEMPTED. Grocery Outlet, Safeway, Walmart, Heggens, Shell, Chevron, Arco, Lynden nutrition and everywhere else I have been to. Also I will save you the headache and time from trying to talk this over with the markets management. I already tried and it was a total waste of my time. However you can go to the markets web page and e-mail them if you would like to try. I would suggest going elsewhere like I will be doing.

Prosser Food Depot, owned by The Markets, LLC is very run down and has extremely outdated technology. They are always extremely understaffed due to not having enough employees. They are always super low on inventory and as customers we get told its because the warehouse wont ship the items. Food Depot is the only grocery store in our town and you would think The Markets would have some interest in keeping the store up to date and not falling apart..
