The staff here gets worked WAY overboard as far as the amount of hours that they're expected to fill. I do feel for them, having been staff there briefly myself while I was (known to management) living in a beat up old Honda Civic with no phone charger or proper insulation, and only having access to the free YMCA showers at the permitted times (5:30-5:55 am or 9:15-9:45 pm) which of course I was still always scheduled to work during, given my 12-13 hour shifts, 4-6 days per week. Of course on one hand I will say that it was nice of management to give me a chance even though I could not wash my uniform every single day as per the rules, but it was also a bit much to expect from someone who was brand new and in such an overwhelming and taxing situation outside of work. For this reason I would say to please be gentle and patient with the workers at Taco Bell, because it really is not an easy job to keep up with, hence the obvious constant turnover. That being said, I will give 2 stars for service this past time I visited because as I was ordering my taco they asked me if I wanted sour cream on it. Since they didn't specify that saying yes would mean an additional $1.75 (or maybe $1.50, I'm not certain but STILL) I thought maybe it came as a free option nowadays, but once I saw the charge I immediately said "oh actually nevermind, I didn't realize it was going to cost that much." To which their reply was a snarky "Ohhhhhh .....well....we alreeeeady maaaaaade the taaaaacooooooooo." ?? Strange....since it was literally SECONDS after I agreed to the sour cream that I changed my mind. I honestly DID NOT HAVE enough money to pay for my food now. At this point they began to harass me while I was embarrassed, digging between my seat cushions for the extra money. They didn't bother to offer any exceptions once they saw what the situation was, but mostly just made me feel incompetent and like I was just in the way. There was only ONE other person in line!!!Parking: The Sunset Square parking lot is shared parking with Safeway, Rite Aid, the laundry mat, and many other stores. That being said, there are plenty of open spaces to park just about any time of the day that you visit.Kid-friendliness: Taco Bell is the perfect place to take any kid who isn't a super picky eater. Although most kids are often VERY picky eaters, so that's the only factor that would make me say that they might not be the best place for kids. Other than that, I can't see any reason why kids wouldn't be just fine here. There is no kids menu of any kind.

Customers are nice, but the drive thru speed is the slowest of any drive thru fast food in town, and consistently is. The quality they put into making the food is going down hill fast. I know its fast food, but there should still be effort into putting the food together. Just a mess, especially when trying to eat in the car. I wouldn't recommend it.

The person taking orders tonight was trying SO hard to upsell every item to the point where he was just talking over me when every time I tried to order. I asked 3 times why does it say I’m being charged for sour cream on the screen? They kept saying I was getting supreme soft tacos and I kept reiterating No, just soft tacos instead of crunchy for the Mexican pizza meal. I ended up paying for sour cream for some reason and sure enough when I got my order there was sour cream on the soft tacos. I get it, trying to meet sales goals, but I knew what I wanted to order, I don’t need suggestions or upselling. It’s Taco Bell. I’m not trying to upgrade trash food. Just let me order and quit it with the upsells “double meat?! You like it spicy?! Sour cream?!” Like chill!!!!!

My favorite taco bell. They are consistently accurate and good especially if you go for lunch time. I feel like the supervisor is great and runs a good shift. I usually use the mobile app for the perks and they make it super quick. Usually taco bell jacks up an order 1/3 of the time at other locations but we have been here at least ten times and not a single mess up. Props to the current crew!

I don't usually write negative reviews about a place unless I've been there more than once, well; I've been going to this Taco Bell for like 10 years, and have finally decided to just make the drive to Ferndale instead of I have a craving. My biggest issues here are:1. Portion size is inconsistent, never satisfying, sometimes abysmal, with the increase in pricing decreasing portion size is unacceptable. Sauces are skimped on and things like that, that really make or break the food.2. These days you're asked to do ad-ons for everything. I know you have to at the employee level, but if someone higher up reads this, please for the love of God STOP making people do this. Sure you might be making a couple of bucks from people who don't go very often, but you're just pissing off your regulars, it's a really bad business idea and keeps me from wanting to go sometimes.

Hi, I'm not the one ually leave any of these things. But 4 minutes away from getting my food from Taco Bell which apparently nobody cares about their job anymore. He told me I can inconvenience myself and go back and get it. Not only did I spend a lot of money on my food which I never eat but this person was so uncaring that I really hope that nobody goes back here again. wish I can leave him more than one star because I would leave him the worst and if you want to know who he is this is 12-29-23. And I hope that the manager looks at this and says what am I doing wrong. I guess if you're not there your employees you really don't care about anything. I spent a lot of money on fast food which I never get! Oh, and if you think I'm just another Karen putting somebody under the bus. Look at your staff and tell me that you really think that I'm wrong. Your food is more than buying groceries. I don't have to go see you anymore and nobody else does and I promise you if you don't make me feel right about this situation I'm going to make it make a point of this.

I've decided this place gets a solid 3, because they just like to go up or down depending on the time of day. As usual, the food was fire. I had 2 of the cheesy grilled burritos with beef and extra cheese. Unfortunately, I failed to get the cook's name, but as I was leaving I did manage to praise my order and give him a fist bump. The rest of the staff interactions were also all pleasant, even though kiosk use is mandatory unless you want to brave their drive-thru line. They do a great job keeping it moving, yet it seems to be long every time I'm there, so they're doing something right. As always, the dining room area was impeccably clean with no less-than-pleasant smells from anything

I know that Taco Bell is known for being a crapshoot, but when it comes to terrible food and service this location takes that cake. They add sour cream and jalapeños to everything without asking (I don't like those ingredients, btw), short you items, then charge you a suspiciously high amount without giving you a receipt. They are blatantly overcharging and ripping people off in a way that is very hard to prove without a receipt. They don't answer the phone, you can't go through the front door, and they know that most people won't wait in their stupidly long drive through line a second time to get their order fixed. Terrible business run by a scammer. Go to any other fast food in town for a better experience, this place is the bottom of the barrel.

They're always kind to be here, and it's dirt-cheap fast food. I don't know what else to tell you. If you order right, lunch is about three bucks. Vegetarian-friendly.
