“I am from another state and called the place to ask about rentals. The employees here are very knowledgeable and kind. When it got closer to time to pick up the rentals, I realized weather was not permitting. I called the store to let them know I would not be picking up the rentals due to the weather. We got a full refund back. Even though I did not technically use this store, I highly recommend!”
“I've developed a significant arthritis issue with the MTP joint in my right big toe and need new footwear to lessen the pain. The many options at Fairhaven Runners were all high quality. The staff, especially Evelyn, were extremely patient and knowledgeable in helping me find an excellent choice. An extra bonus: it feels great supporting a local, high quality business.”
“I bought this in September of 2015 from Unknown and it was a great experience. The first (orange) board I bought didn't work out for me and they allowed me to switch it for the one (red) that worked better for me. I was attending WWU and couldn't afford to buy it all at once, they allowed me to make payments until I was able to pay it off. I was looking back through old pictures and remembered this wonderful experience.”

“100% recommend Pacific North Sports for an efoiling lesson! Phil is awesome and fun to hang out with on the water while he teaches you to efoil. This is hands down one of the coolest things to do in Bellingham, especially if during the summer you miss snowboarding, this scratches the itch while being epic in it's own right! Adding a new hobby to the list after one lesson, I am hooked!”
“The basement is a trap! I’ve never seen so many toys in my life! Unless you’re ready and willing to buy something for your babies, don’t go down there unless they’re extremely well-controlled lol. But in all seriousness, this place is amazing and are comfortable, especially when they have sales. The staff there is out of this world friendly in every way and they are so helpful. And if you get the opportunity, I would suggest that you go to one of their mini functions that they have throughout the year. They’re always giving away free stuff and always have the funniest activities for kids there.”

“We have twice now been exceedingly impressed by this store.First in December 2023, we needed new turf boots and every store we checked was either sold out or only carried brand’s that do not fit my daughter’s narrow feet. Soccer City had a multiple options for her to choose from and incredibly helpful and friendly staff.This weekend the sole started to fall off the boot (fault of Nike, not the store). Due to long border lineups, by the time we got through the border, our anticipated arrival at the store was exactly when the store closed. We called the store and explained what we were looking for and that we were cutting it very close as to whether or not we would arrive in time.We ended up arriving a minute after close. The incredible gentleman at the store was waiting with options pulled for us. While I was rushing my child, he was incredibly patient, despite our late arrival and his right to close up and go home.I can’t say enough positive things about this store and their incredible staff. I have already recommended to many people and will continue to do so.”

“I was really impressed with the quality of the gear I rented. In the past, I've paid way too much for out-dated, damaged products. AAI provided me with up to date equipment (which was awesome). One of the guys in the shop said they rented good products with the hope that customers would buy them, and I really appreciate that. I would definitely rent from them again :)”
“Phone service is friendly; some of the staff in the store is friendly and professional; found what I needed: heaviest Frisbee I found was 160 grams; didn't see 175 gram Frisbees (I think they were out) or 200 gram Frisbees (I don't think they carry them)”

“I had a lot of questions in a lot of different departments yesterday. From the dude in the shoe section, tossing jokes and just having a great time.. The other dude chatting about Stanley vs Yeti cups and a little about Blackstone Griddles.
Then the final dude from helping me price match a Blackstone, to getting it to the cash, then into my vehicle, chatting about camping and such… THANK YOU! It’s rare to find good customer service and just straight up kindness these days, and this store has an entire floor of them!
Not to mention the employees who asked if I needed help, and assisted with the approval of the price match… Just amazing, super impressed.”

This old REI bicycle of mine has been with me for 18 years, the bicycle meant a lot to me cuz it accompanied me through some tough times in my life, and Tini looked after it quickly and with a smile! Really made my day!”
