Wonderful shop and staff! They demonstrated several vacuum models for me and I was also able to try them for myself in the shop before making a purchase. I appreciated that not once did I ever feel pressured into buying a certain brand or model and that they were able to answer any questions that I had while there. I highly recommend you visit here if you’re looking for a high quality, long lasting vacuum and want to support a local business. Looking forward to my next visit??

Steve revived my vacuum! I was going to buy another but he convinced me to rebuild the one I had. Much less expensive, it works like new. Nothing I could have purchased would be as good. Extra bonus local family owned business! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

We are so lucky to have Rector's in Bellingham. They are super helpful people helping with all your vacuum cleaner needs, including answering fussy little questions, fixing or tuning up your favorite vacuum cleaner, and having the supplies you need on hand! 5 stars for Rector's!

EXCEPTIONAL! I have a 16 year-old Dyson vacuum. It has served me extremely well over the years. However, as of late, its performance and capability has been somewhat lacking. Upon the advice of some experienced, knowledgeable neighbors, I took my beloved, but ailing, Dyson and headed off to Rectors. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile and cheerful "hello". I described my concerns and the gentleman proceeded with his inspection of my machine. He asked a few questions and it quickly became obvious he was very knowledgeable about Dyson vacuums. He predicted my machine's ailments and gave me a price estimate. Now, listen to this..... I was in this shop at approximately 2:30 pm. The very next day, at around noon, I received a call. My vacuum was repaired and ready for pickup! It hadn't even been 24 hours!!! When I arrived for pickup, the gentleman brought out machine and described the repairs that had been done and even showed me the old, worn-out parts. When I was presented with the bill, it listed everything that was done. It was exactly what was previously quoted to me. The service was excellent and the pricing very reasonable. * * * I highly recommend * * *

I prefer to spend my money locally when possible; I'd rather support my community than Amazon.I stopped in to buy a belt for our Dyson and the gentlemen in the store were friendly, professional, polite and most helpful. I wasn't spending much, but I was still treated as if I were.They had a lot of cool and crazy looking vacuums for sale and all were reasonably priced.The price of the belt was competitive, if not better priced than anything I had seen online. And that was without personal service. Had a great laugh toward the end and left with a smile on my face.Honestly, all I can tell you is spend your money here. They certainly don't make them like this anymore.

Wow! !! My Dyson broke after 8 months. I returned it to Costco and bought a Sebo from Rectors. I LOVE this vacuum. Best I've ever used.

Great service! Recently needed to have my vacuum system serviced. I called Rector's and was given an appointment for the system. Steve came before he opened the store. He arrived promptly. He worked carefully -cleared the hoses, cleaned the filter and emptied the canister. It made a terrific difference in suction. I really appreciate the good service and the charge was more than reasonable! Thanks so much you are greatly appreciated!
