I came across Ormolulu a few years ago when one of their covid lockdown-era sales was shared out across Instagram. My first purchase was a gorgeous tramp art box, and I’ve made annual purchases ever since. Items arrive in pristine condition despite the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere. I’ve joked that they wrap items to survive exit and reentry to the atmosphere. They’ve come to know my tastes and will give me a heads up when certain things come into the shop. And their Christmas selection is divine! This past year I purchased two life sized swans that I refuse to take down. Swans for all seasons! It’s probably good that I live so far away, as I’d be in the shop weekly I have no doubt! Fabulous, unique and perfectly eccentric… their finds make my little world a better place.

Whoever was representing this business at the @thefarmchicks show in Spokane could not of been ruder if she tried. If it was the owner this will fall on deaf ears. She snapped at me twice for asking a simple question and comment I made that was a compliment! It appeared that even though the show still had 4 hours to go, her only concern was to get out and head back to the westside. I bring up westside because I have 4 kids that live over there and told one about my experience and she laughed because one of her friends had the same rude service at the store a while back. Good news is these days there are many vintage stores to choose from. Cross this one off my list

Absolutely wonderful couple to work with. I needed help finding the right pieces for my home and they gladly are answering that call! Such a beautiful collection of antiques to choose from. Currently working with them, and will continue to do so.

As a new resident of Bellingham, I immediately found Ormolulu in a web-search when looking for interesting places to shop in setting up my new apartment. And, turns out, Ormolulu was right next door to me, in South Hill neighborhood of Bellingham. I was starting with a couch, I needed a couch! Debi adeptly sussed out my design style and preferences and very quickly presented me with a wonderful, unique, purposeful piece that perfectly suited me! She paired it with a wrought iron chandelier. Wow! Just perfect!!At this point I was confident in Debi's obvious skill and let her roll on, imagining how to furnish my new space. Industrial, eclectic garden/jungle style bloomed in my space. Debi sourced me a divine rug, a gooseneck lamp, metal table, transformed a bird cage into a hanging light in the bedroom---and so much more!I cannot recommend Ormolulu highly enough. Figure out what you want and try going into Ormolulu, let Debi help you imagine the possibilities! Master of Light, Jim, helped me transform the light in my apt., from boring to FANTASTIC! Wow! This is a shop, and people, who are one of a kind. You're probably scouring the internet for the perfect ________ (insert your word here). You'll surely find something interesting, beautiful and unique at Ormolulu. Go!!

What a fabulous store! I was visiting friends in Bellingham and knew of this store by following the owner on Instagram. I took my family and friends with me, and we all loved the store! From the owners to the merchandise it’s amazing!

Best quality and diversity of antiques and more in Northwest Washington. It's like a private collection.

When I saw this shop I was so excited to go in. The window displays are fabulous. I tried several times and each time, when I arrived, it was closed. I finally did get to visit on an 'open' day but I was disappointed in the treatment I received. The woman working there was very rude. I decided to try again another time but sadly, received the same treatment. As lovely as this place is, I will never buy anything from them. They need to hire some people with class and customer service skills.

I am beyond bored at most antique stores. My wife loves them and I will cheerfully accompany her to them when I have failed to plan our route to avoid them. Ormolulu had me at Hello. The proprietors are Debbie and Jim. Their curation is amazing. Before we even entered the store, they had good music (Ray Charles) playing at appropriate volume from high quality concealed speakers. More about that in a minute. While they don't have as much guy-stuff as they do girl-stuff, they have ten times as much guy stuff as any other five antique shops I've been in. Before we talked to Debbie about whether it was OK to take pictures (it is OK), I was sneaking photos on my phone where I couldn't be seen. If you want to outfit the best man cave ever, this is the place to shop. Which brings me back to the music. Jim does clever retrofitting of radios and other pieces, putting high quality Bluetooth-capable speakers in them. So there is pleasant music throughout the shop and it's hard to tell where it's coming from. The antiques literally sing. I had a huge grin when I found the first one. I KNOW there's music coming from this wall, but from where...? They should do a lot of these and make them easily discoverable by other than curious audiophiles. I'll post some pictures soon as I get them off my phone.

Gorgeous place but rude woman behind the counter. When she realized we were 'just looking' she responded to my thank- you with 'mmmmhmmm' without even looking at me. First experience with that level of rudeness in an establishment. Maybe a bad day for her but it definitely ruined my experience there.
