This place is very honest and their mechanics are well trained, knowledgeable,and thorough. Will never go elsewhere now that I have a place I trust! It's always convenient to borrow a loaner vehicle if needed, too.

I had heard great things about Mint automotive and was looking to have my 28 year old BMW 325 I convertible serviced. I knew it needed struts and other preventive work but found it challenging to find a shop that would work on it and was also knowledgeable and fair. Mint automotive had great reviews so I had them do an oil change and give the car a full check up. It was a pleasure to work with Dan and Carson. They were clearly knowledgeable and took their time to communicate with me as subsequent service progressed. A minor oil leak was carefully evaluated and I felt comfortable with them performing multiple preventive/maintenance services I had been reluctant to trust other shops to do. Tremendously impressed by the quality of the service I received at Mint Automotive. They did an outstanding job on our Mercedes at a price that was far less than what it would have cost at the Mercedes dealership. I’m also very impressed with their honesty and integrity. When I brought my car in for a diagnosis and repair, the technicians worked quickly and then checked their work, not satisfied until they felt sure that the problem was solved they persisted until the issue was resolved. They were communicative through the process even offering a loaner. When my vehicle was fixed they washed the exterior and gave the interior a once over as well. As I drove away I was impressed by how well they took care of my car and I have had no more issues with it. Later I received a follow up letter for services rendered and felt that they have an excelled at their customer service and satisfaction. They have my business from now on.

I was happy to find Mint as an alternative to the poor dealership service I was receiving. Mint was thorough in its service, fantastic at communicating, fairly priced and on time. I will use them for servicing my Audi and Porsche going forward.

Mint and it's predecessor Keith Cox Automotive have kept my 2007 Z4 in great shape since 2010. They have solved both easy and difficult problems for me and have provided excellent advice on the care and maintenance of my car. Quick to respond to any questions I had about the process of getting a new key fob for my VW Golf, and even tried to program the one I'd gotten off of ebay at no extra charge (despite the warning that it very rarely worked).Also took extra time to help diagnose and quickly repair a loose splash guard on the bottom of the vehicle.Thanks Carson and the rest. I'm very happy with the many years of service for my various cars that I have received here. I have moved away from Bellingham but will continue to travel 60+ miles and a ferry to bring my car to Mint. Their work is quality. There's no other way to say it. Not only that, but they are honest about the potential costs/expectations when doing repairs. I just recently had a major failure on my 2003 mini cooper s and they were honest about the situation. They told me exactly what to expect in terms of amount of work, time and cost of repairs. I chose not to do the repairs and ended up selling the car to one of the mechanics so that it could be used as a project car. They even gave me a ride to work instead of just giving me the door.Overall, they're honest, hardworking, and were worth driving two towns over for car repairs. I won't go anywhere else for mini cooper care/repair.Services: General repairs & maintenance

The car got louder and the suspension felt off. After a quick drive and check they diagnosed a near total failure of the suspension. Something a car with over 250k miles.They were able to quickly repair the car and provide a loaner car. They also have worked on another car extremely fast and for a lower cost then what I was anticipating.

I walked in to schedule an urgent appointment for my BMW, and they fit me in that day. They also found a problem with a part I had installed that I wouldn't have known about until the part broke, and repaired it as soon as I brought in a replacement. Highly recommended for European cars.
