Last visit around 10 or more years ago, great place, great artwork! One of the highlights of my life was meeting Jody and giving her a big hug! Making a trip again this Thursday, 3/21/24, for a doctor visit. Going early so I can spend hours browsing and, hopefully, seeing Jody again! Have loved her work, and followed her from the beginning. Especially love her newer works...such a wonderful artist and a delightful person! Bellingham, you have a treasure!!!

I've also loved her artwork, so whimsical and uplifting! I'm saddened that she is retiring, but I do hope that she continues to paint and that she offers her artwork through her website.

I love Jody. I worked in the cafe at the gallery in 1990. It was such a great job. Jody was so kind to me.

I have tried repeatedly to discuss the cultural appropriation in Jody's work, work that she profits from. She responded with a holier-than-thou patronizing attitude and her followers became abusive and dismissive. THIS is why respectful collaborations are needed where First Nations artists are given the floor and the ovation versus non-indigenous artists simply treating us like we don't have a good enough voice to speak for ourselves. I am disappointed that an influential artist like Jody continues an outdated colonialist attitude of intellectual and cultural property infringement.

Love Jody and her paintings! She's my favorite artist for 40 years or close to 40! She is genuinely kind and warm as well as talented, smart and beautiful inside and out!

Love visiting during the sales and having the chance to meet with Jody and have items signed. She is a wonderfully talented artist and genuine person. Will miss our annual trips when the warehouse closes next summer.
