Let's put it this way. Edgar has been being groomed since he was a puppy and is now almost ten. He has been to a couple of groomers in his lifetime and this is the first place he is actually not pulling at me to get out the door before his grooming has even started. So I know he is well taken care of and he always looks great! He's old, over weight and I know not the easiest to handle but Holy Shitzu has been a perfect fit!

If you are looking for a groomer, I’d highly recommend them! I’ve brought both my dogs Bella and Ranger here and they’ve been wonderful in caring for my two anxious pups!

We loved Nelson's market in Bellingham Wa The atmosphere the staff and the food were great Can't wait to go back. The burrito and eggs Benedict were perfect It's set in a sweet little neighborhood

I will only take my dog here to have her nails trimmed. They are very accommodating with my anxious pup. Easy to make appointments and great communication. They are kind and caring to me and my dog.

We have three rather highly strung standard poodles. the lovely professionals at Holy Shihtzu create such a relaxed environment that our dogs actually look forward to their grooming!!! the team is gentle and thorough! they do a superb job and our dogs return home relaxed. no trauma. No stress! we cannot recommend them highly enough!!!! this team is the best in whatcom county !

And easy five stars for cousins Kaitlyn and Melissa. Our two rescue sweeties were in yesterday for the first time: Baillie, a border collie from a barn in E. Washington, and Mia, a chihuahua from the streets of Oaxaca. Neither felt very good about the whole thing given their early histories of uncertain treatment by humans. But we were reassured that all would be fine...and it was. Once the other dogs had been served Baillie and Mia were allowed to roam the bath/trim room together. We returned to find them shiny and clean and doing just fine. This loving service was affordably provided but the two talented owners and we left rather pleased with ourselves for tracking their establishment down. It is quite understandable why Holy Shihtzu (what a great name) has received such high marks.
