“Joe’s Garden has great produce coming from their own fields. The size and quality are amazing. But the prices are insane. Today I purchased: red onions, sweet onions, lettuce, carrots, garlic, tomatoes, dill, parsley, peaches, radishes, a jar of local honey, and a large planter and I paid $130.21. It’s a catch 22. You’re buying farm fresh, organic produce, better than what you get in supermarkets, but it comes at high costs. Compared to another local farm I went to yesterday - also organic-where I picked and bought a bunch of pickling cucumbers, some tomatoes (they didn’t have many ready for harvest), some apples, over 7 pounds of potatoes, and over a gallon of strawberries and my total cost was $26. Granted it was all UPick so that helped with the cost, but still.”
“Goods has great beer on tap. It’s turning into the new food truck produce hub of Bham! I know Menace is just down the street, but I secretly wish Goods would add they’re Menace “aka Miller beer” on the tap list.”
“I was here a few months ago to buy strawberries and they said they were closing for the season. Is it open again? Website doesn't seem to have been updated for last 3 months”
