Rooms are good, service is great, location is great. Be sure to stop by Galloway's pub, Ovn, the book store, and the creperie.

This place is a gem. Despite a problem with the fire alarm, our experience was lovely. The staff could not have been more accommodating, our large, comfortable room had a fireplace, deck and view of the harbor. We would definitely return.
Rooms: Large, cozy, fireplace, deck, view, large bathroom, walk-in shower
Nearby activities: Right at the start of the gorgeous waterfront trail that's a 45 minute walk to downtown.
Walkability: In the heart of Fairhaven
Food and drinks: Lots of cafes and restaurants within blocks.

My one night stay at the Fairhaven Village Inn in Fairhaven, Washington, was absolutely exceptional! The inn offers a perfect blend of charm, history, and comfort, with cozy, beautifully maintained rooms and outstanding service from the staff. The library was a standout for me—a peaceful and inviting space where I enjoyed a morning cup of coffee and complimentary Danish before heading out. The location is unbeatable, parking is free and secure and the inn is within easy walking distance of fantastic shops and cafes, making it an ideal spot to experience the best of the historic district. Truly a gem of a place—I can’t recommend it highly enough!

I love to splurge a little when traveling, and Fairhaven Village Inn went above and beyond my expectations.
The staff were extremely friendly and made sure I had everything I could possibly need. I made me very special and pampered, even before I'd arrived.
My room was much larger than I had expected. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the satin-like robes added to the luxury.
The surrounding area was extremely walkable and full of quaint shops and beautiful art and architecture. I really enjoyed browsing the bookstore across from the Inn.
It was a wonderful way to end my stay in Bellingham. It was a convenient 7-minute walk to the train station, too.
I will most definitely be back and highly recommend Fairhaven Village Inn as a wonderful place to stay.
Rooms: The room was much larger than expected. It felt very luxurious, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable.
Walkability: The area was incredibly walkable with many different interesting shops, cafes, and beautiful scenery.
Noteworthy details: I appreciated how kind and welcoming the staff were. I enjoyed all the scenic side alleys with shops and cafes hidden there. There was so much to see, and I look forward to visiting again.

We had a nice room facing the West. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. There is a nice view of the islands and sunset….once you get past the large commercial building below. We enjoyed having the large slider. The metal chairs on the balcony don’t have cushions and weren’t too comfortable when we sat out and read and watched the sunset in the distance. We eventually brought them inside and put a couple of our small camp chairs out on the balcony. Some folks have mentioned an odor, I think it was some pungent cleaning solvent. We left our slider open to air out. The hotel is perfectly located to explore Fairhaven. We usually stay at the Chrysalis or Bellwether Hotel for their amazing bay sunset views. The train runs right in front of the Chrysalis and there are a LOT of trains. The Bellwether is pretty isolated. The Fairhaven Village Inn is far enough away that the train horn won’t blast you awake. We will be back to the Fairhaven Village Inn.Walkability: It abuts the Interurban and the trail that runs to Boulevard Park Bellingham

We love the Fairhaven Village Inn. It's located just across from one of the most perfect little parks in the world and centrally located in beautiful Fairhaven, WA. We had our wedding in the park and had the Fairhaven Inn as our "home away from home" for the out-of-town guests! It could not have been more perfect. The rooms are well appointed, FRESH, and you have access to anything you need within a block of the hotel. The outdoor patio area (located above the hotel check-in area) is a MAJOR bonus. We set-up our wedding party out in this space, overlooking Bellingham Bay, with music and wine, it was surreal! The staff at the Inn are beyond hospitable and helpful. It's the kind of Inn / Hotel that you could spend a night at, or a week, there is always something to see and do in this neck of the woods. Forget about the chain hotels, choose the Fairhaven Village Inn, you will not be disappointed.Rooms: Comfortable rooms, very clean and spacious.Nearby activities: Tons to see and do.........Walkability: VERY walkable, Fairhaven is a GEM!!!Food & drinks: There are tons of options within walking distance from Italian to AMerican to Mexican to sushi and Poke.......it's a cornucopia of options!!!!!

Clean, welcoming lobby. Lovely appearance inside and out. We stayed in room 308, a Parkside room for 1 night. The room had a very pungent , wet wood, musty carpet smell that was very overwhelming. I am not sure if all the rooms are in this state, but we will not stay here again. We came, we smelled we left.

Their super cozy lobby and lounge areas have been wonderfully decorated for the holidays. The Fairhaven Village Inn would be a perfect place for your holiday guests to stay or to getaway for a mini vacation to Bellingham.
