This gallery features hyper sexualized depictions of women. The artwork emphasizes certain body-types - large breasted, slender women - and promotes dominant culture's misogynistic consumption of certain kinds of female bodies. Reinforces an absolutely destructive image of an "ideal" body as defined by patriarchal BS. I get angry every time I drive past their sign on 10th and Harris - we do not need more images of the hyper sexualized female body on display for consumption, in my opinion. Sex sells and that is clearly being capitalized here, no notion misogynist standards being challenged.

Echo's paintings contain such beautiful, vibrant colors and amazing details. I can get lost in them for hours. Being able to go to her gallery and see so many of her amazing paintings in one place is truly a gift and I urge everyone to go there as soon as possible and support this wonderful artist.
