Came in because my dog could barely move. She was given great care and they were willing to work with me on payments.

Scheduled an appointment that I arrived early for (and also had to arrange to get off work early to make) and they can not honor that time. I was checked in and taken to a room promptly but then had to sit in there (with such a strong smell of bleach it was giving me a headache) for over 30 mins with no communication from the staff on what was going on so I left. I felt bad that my dog was getting tired and having to try and lay down on the nasty floor.

The staff at Bellingham Veterinary are puurrrfect! My son brought his new puppy to this Clinic after I brought my new kitty here. Compassionate staff very reasonably priced and it was clear that they prioritize their patients and provide best care as their standard of practice.

I can not speak highly enough about this clinic. The staff is truly something special. I've used this vet for many years for a cat and a dog. They keep our pets healthy for a reasonable price and with extraordinary patience. They really care about the animals quality of life. When our tiny rescue kitten broke her leg we took her the the emergency clinic and they put a cast on her leg. It was too tight and caused long term damage to her leg. Bellingham veterinary made her comfortable and corrected any mistakes from the previous vet visit. They felt bad that we had to pay twice so they were very generous with our bill.

If you have any other options, please skip Bellingham Vet. Service and "medical care" are a joke. I'd give zero stars if possible.I brought in my gecko who had suffered a fall and was acting stiff/dazed/wobbly. I was seen by Dr. Rybka for a grand total of 90 seconds at most, in which time she did not even bother to take him out of his carrier. (I was charged $90 for this "exam"). She just sat there and let me tell her what I thought instead of actually making an attempt at a diagnosis herself. She quickly recommended radiographs which I agreed to, but I then waited over an hour without any updates from any staff at all. When she finally returned she prescribed gabapentin, neglecting to inform me that it was a sedative or of any of the other side effects (including decreased appetite).Following the daily dose for the next week, my gecko slept basically all day and did not eat. I then called the office to ask if there were any side effects, and was eventually able to hear from Dr. Rybka that loss of appetite could be a side effect. While my gecko continued to have no interest in food for the next 2 weeks, I continued to ask the vet what I could do/what the underlying cause could be. She suggested that I get him some supplements to aid with blockages, which was ridiculous as he had not eaten anything at all in the past 3 weeks (much less anything that could cause a blockage). At this point I gave up and went to another vet hospital, where I had a beyond better experience and my gecko was actually given a thorough exam. The vet was extremely knowledgable and came to the conclusion that the problem is either a neck injury, an issue with his vision, or something neurological. These possible diagnoses were never even mentioned as a possibility at Bellingham Veterinary, when they very well could've been if anyone there had bothered to even pick up my gecko. Additionally, the prescription of gabapentin made him incredibly sluggish and averse to food to the point where he couldn't/wouldn't eat and went from 67 to 51 grams over the course of 3.5 weeks. 24 hours after seeing the other vet and receiving the correct medication and he is back to eating and is much more alert. And on top of that, it was cheaper!! His situation was dire and Bellingham Vet did not respond with enough care, attention, or expertise. Save your time, save your money, and potentially even save your pet's life and do NOT go here.

Dr. Sullivan is absolutely the most competent AND compassionate veterinarian that I have ever taken my dogs to. His breadth of knowledge and expertise is beyond amazing. I feel so very fortunate to have found his practice. His employees are fantastic as well.

Amazing! My dog developed an eye infection on Friday PM before a holiday weekend. They were able to fit me in on Saturday with a quick resolution. I'm so thankful I didn't have to take her to the emergency vet, or wait until Tuesday to see our regular vet.

Affordable and close to my home, but……I simply can not return. Every single time I have a set appointment I sit in the waiting room for at least 25 minutes, but usually closer to 35. Let’s call it an average of 30. Staff could care less.I’m sure this is not an original thought on my part by any stretch, but appointments are a two-way agreement. Both parties are setting a time that works for them. My time should be considered as important as this clinic’s time. Of course things come up for the clinic, I get that. But this is too routine for me to dismiss it.Think I wouldn’t care quite so much if someone at this clinic seemed to give a rat’s behind, but I have yet to experience any empathy. They could care less.Oh well.

I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment, my dog and I waited for over an hour and a half and were never seen. I walked out, super unprofessional. What a waste of time. This was my first visit and my last.

My little dog broke his front paw Monday before Thanksgiving 2022. This facility was so compassionate and professional. Dr Westfall fit him in and operated on him late Tuesday. Diego can runand leap around because of the surgery.Saying I am grateful is an understatement.

Was in town to take the ferry to Alaska and they gave our dogs travel certificates the day before we left when no one else would. Best vet ever!!
