Sorry, I'm not sure how I left a review of 2 stars with no comment. Must have been the old pocket review. This auction is deserving of 5 stars for sure. They seem quite legit and seem to be pretty honest with their details on cars. They usually will say if it has oil leaks or the engine knocks or anything major will be listed in plain view. They give you usually a week to go and view the cars and if you ask, you can get them to start them up. Very friendly staff as well, hopefully ill find the right car again soon.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from this auction and I feel the auction house was honest and trustworthy. If I need a cheap car in the future I would not hesitate to buy here. That being said I recommend paying for the vin check and always previewing the vehicles.

I have been happily dealing with Bellingham Public Auto Auction for decades. The current ownership is the friendliest and want to help however they can. I have bought and sold items through them. I have found dropping items off to sell to be seamless and easy. I have my check in a few weeks after the sale and they do all the work! When I buy items they give you several days to pick your items up. It is an auction so sometimes I bid and get a killer deal and sometimes my items go for way more than I thought. I recommend BPAA as a convenient way to buy or sell and help grow our green economy!

They sold me a inoperable vehicle without stating it in the description. I'm not sure what their vetting process is but it clearly needs to be reformed. I wouldn't recommend buying a vehicle from this auction.

Terrible presentation of vehicles. Generic description of vehicles and doesn't highlight area's of concerns.

Just don't ever use these people. They are really really horrible. You will not be a satisfied seller. My clock was in perfect order actually and it sold for a fine price that was not the issue. The issue is that your hours of operation are incorrect since you're never in. You don't answer email when I said I had changed my mind and do isn't want to sell it. I tried for a week to reach you and got nothing until after the sale occurred. Poor business practice

So I had a couple items that these people sold at a public online auction, and tho I admit not making the inquiries I should have, they represented as though there was merely a 5dollat listing fee, and failed to even mention that they actually would also charge nearly 35% making my 26o dollar sale only net me a 162dollar check, these people are charging exuberant amount of consignment while doing their best to not prrsent thier real fees clearly to the people listing with them, a stand up business would clearly state and make sure clients are aware of their commissions not breeze by the matter unless directly asked, stop being shady and make your costs clearly visible and understood from the start. Not to mention the terms and conditions they had posted online were completely contradictory to the way their business is run and when it was brought to their attention prior to this post, it was suddenly not available online any longer, simply stating to contact them for details, what are they so opposed to making public knowledge, their commissions?? There is likely a lawsuit in the future of their business unless they put a significant effort into sharpening up their business practices and ethics.

Family member bought a vehicle over their truck was totaled and has no other money. They test run the motor you are not allowed to get in while they start it. A code in the photos i noticed was on the site on the vehicle proving they cleared the codes at the lot. Does this not void anything you sign for the lemon law? Now there is a hard clunking while driving so it must be transmission internal. Buyer beware i spent tens of thousands in the past at this place. Where did they change to be so crooked. Plus what is with the added money *they charge* you just to list a vehice? Half a grand extra on top of the price you buy the vehicle they charge your card a few days later is crazy i thought they deduct this money from the total you won the auction for. RIP OFF.

Always super friendly, you can ask questions about the cars up for auction and they are upfront about if the car was able to drive-in or if it is going to have problems. Good place to find a cheap vehicle if you can find one that is not being bid on by dealers.

Employees are very helpful- but do not bid on anything until you look in person at what you are bidding on.

Came to look at a vehicle.. Watched them sell a truck with a clear broken frame that was undisclosed in the listing. Then another car with a hell of a rod knock i heard from 50 ft away. I walked away.

I have purchased two cars from here, the first one needed a lot of work, but has been on the road for three years, the second one also needed a lot of work, but is a mechanically sound vehicle and worth the investment, they will turn over the engine if you ask, but I wish they did test drives like the one in Pasco.
