Chanel is hands down one of the best sales people I have ever worked with. She got me into the SUV I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. Very respectful and paitent. Definitely going back to her when it’s time for an upgrade! Thank you so much ?

Unfortunately the sales team at Bellingham Nissan appears to be the kind of folks all the negative stereotypes about "car salesmen" are based on. Say one thing, put another on paper. When they get caught is what they claim was an accident (I'm beginning to think they did it on purpose) they break out the creative bookkeeping to protect themselves and screw over the customer. If you value honesty, integrity and respect, don't buy from these guys. I would highly recommend heading south if you want a Nissan. The car is fine (the 2nd one at least), but if you can avoid Bellingham Nissan's predatory sales staff, you should.
UPDDATE: after 2 weeks of trying to get someone at the dealership to even acknowledge the mistakes or outright scam that had occurred, despite all the evidence now added below, the staff here denied any wrong doing or problem. They did this despite the $5,437 increase in the loan amounts in less than a 24 hour period for a vehicle and options identical in all but color to the damaged one I returned. Note the sale contract below is for the 2nd vehicle. the "paid off" loan amount 39,932 was what I owed and had financed with them for the first vehicle on July 14th. The sale contract below is from July 15th for the "exchange" of the damaged vehicle and somehow in the process of the exchange the loan amount increased the above noted amount. To deliver me an undamaged version of the damaged product they sold me, they charged me that amount and I, like a fool, signed it un examined because 2 of their staff told me to my face that there would be no additional cost to me if they did it that way. Lie and deny seems to be the motto. Oh and I emailed their GM after his response to this review. He did not respond. Save your time money and sanity, don't ever buy from these guys.
UPDATE 2: well to their credit the GM reached out to me today and expressed his regret for my negative experience. While only some of the financial issues were able to be resolved, he at least made an effort, and we both acknowledged that communication was strained from the get-go, and this hindered resolution of the problems. It was still a massive headache, and I was still in the end charged more than I should have been, he at least acknowledged and accepted some responsibility for what went wrong. As such I will bump it up to 3 stars for effort on his part.

I will only give this 1 star for Forest our salesman, because he was absolutely awesome. The company has commercials saying it puts its customers first and that is clearly false. We were lied to, and more or less manipulated into our deal. The finance guy THAD will never do any deals for us ever again and I recommend everyone stay away from him, as well as not let him push you through signing without a very thorough reading (our mistake). We were told through the whole process our term would be for 84 months. It wasn't until they called us to come back and re-sign because for "some reason" they submitted our paperwork for an 87 month loan. Which only makes sense to get us to see the numbers we wanted knowing that the bank could reject it, while also saying that the deal was locked in. What Thad did was shady to say the least. Again the only bright point was working with Forest.
Don't be SHADY. Transparency and honesty goes a long way, so our future business will be taken elsewhere

Forest was a tremendous help as a first time car buyer! Where there is a will there is a way, and he found a way to get me a car with my options!

Went in for regular scheduled service. My car was in early and out early. Good results, no hard sell. Perfect. Thanks.

Had a good experience at Bellingham Nissan. Came in for an oil change and basic inspection on my 2013 Nissan Altima. Mat did a great job taking care of me. Took a bit longer than planned but he kept me updated. Overall a good experience!

Bought my car here before the new owner. Back then, loved it. Now? Hate it. The mechanics are dodgy, there was always something new wrong with my car. When I go to pick it up, I paid for them to install a new headlight, they charged me for it and now it doesn’t work. And when I try to get a hold of them, I can’t get through, I either can’t even get a hold of the service department, or when I do I get put on 22-30 minute holds and the call drops. Idk what the new owner is doing, but he sucks at running a car dealership.

Amazing staff, great atmosphere! Sent a request for info, Michael called in less than 10 minutes. Bought it the next day. Couldn't of been more happy with everyone there and the help they showed me and my family. Definitely a great place to buy a vehicle. Michael and Tony are great people along with the rest of their staff. Thanks again Bellingham Nissan!

Alexis spent time working with us and having good conversation. There was never a point we felt pressured or pushed into a particular aspect of the process. Everything was well-explained and there was a good level of reciprocation. Highly recommend!

This place is honestly scum.
- Tried to charge 12.99% APR for a 5,999 dollar car.
- Added 3,000 dollars worth of extra things that I didn't ask for, or want, for a car listed as 5,999 on their own website.
- Sales representative had to go back to talk to the manager three times after I refused to sign to commit to buying the car that day. I'm not signing anything when we haven't even agreed on a price.
- Sales representative tried to tell me that comprehensive coverage through personal auto insurance wouldn't cover a stolen vehicle to try to sell me something extra for 2,000... after I told him I work in the insurance industry.
- A manager came out with a new quote that magically was able to remove previous add on charges that the previous rep told me he couldn't possibly remove because it came with the car.
- Manager also raised the retail price that was advertised on the website by a 1,000 and then tried to tell me that I was saving 1,000. Also had the audacity to tell me that the price dropped by a thousand yesterday.
- The sales team told me at least three times that I was confused for pointing out the fact that I didn't want to sign "commitment" paperwork.
- The manager wouldn't let me take home the page that had the corrected offer because this page having my first and last name was quote a "privacy issue." When I asked for a copy of the quote to take home and think over they shredded it and handed me a business card.
I understand that I look like a woman, I understand that salesmen will try to make extra money, and that there's such a thing as "girl tax,"- but honestly never had my intelligence so insulted.

I had an awesome experience. The Nissan team was able to assist me. Chanel is a great person, who is working hard to answer all and every questions you have, no matter how simple. Also Mr. Vu (Finance team) is an amazing guy who has your best interest at heart. Will definitely recommend if you plan on buying a new car with great people who listen to your every needs.
