I just met the most lovely lady...Christina, Mgr. of the Barkley Banner Bank. My card was compromized and she brought me a new card to my house because I am 88 and could not get to the bank. Imagine that!

Ok Banner Bank, I see you now, I clearly see that you don't give a rats a** about your everyday average customer. I'm guessing that if we were among the 1% that we would be being treated much differently, but that's not the case! This is a fair warning to all the regular hard working people out there who choose to Trust this bank with their money-don't! If, god forbid, you hold an account here and your account gets hacked, do NOT expect Banner Bank to do a damn thing to help you! First off, after hours is after hours, you will have absolutely no way to report an account breach, there is no option for this, there is a lost or stolen and you can shut your card off, but that's it, no one to talk to to help you through a scary, intrusive situation. When your account is completely wiped out by a hacker, they will tell you there is nothing they can do until all the charges clear! And then, and only then, can we dispute the charges, which will take up to a few weeks to maybe get your money back! YOUR MONEY IS NOT SAFE HERE! Especially if you are a paycheck to paycheck family, like a lot of us these days, you are risking not being able to provide groceries that week because a shitty person decided to steal your entire paycheck! You will risk not being able to purchase your prescriptions and hope to god you will be able to keep going till next payday because Banner Bank will not help you, not at all! As a matter of fact, they won't respond to any messages if they are sent in the after hours, don't expect to get a response ever. We've had issues here every now and then, the most popular one is when they lose your entire deposit, yes, that's happened several times, but we still stayed for some stupid reason and now this happens and good luck to those who choose to trust you, I wouldn't wish this treatment to my worst enemy!

We moved out accounts to Banner a little over a year ago and have never regretted it! Christina and the crew are fantastic! Always helpful, always available!

Every time I walk through the doors of this branch I feel welcomed! Both Beth and Kiera are super friendly, knowledgeable, and solution driven women who know how to get the job done! Perhaps the most notable quality the two have is their astounding patience and ability to maintain a calm composure when faced with difficult clients. Really impressive to behold.

The highly professional service we receive from the folks at the Barkley branch is stellar! The take care of our needs with accuracy, and the entire staff is incredibly personable. Walking into the branch is one of the best parts of my day!

The manager at this branch went above and beyond to help me with a serious banking issue that no one else wanted to help remedy. If I could give 10 stars, I would. This branch actually cares about their customers, I highly recommend doing business at this location. Thank you!

Really disappointed in the communication this company had provided for us. And the lack of customer service. Our family has had very unprofessional interactions with the birch bay location on numerous occasions. All the one particular teller. Then when I went to close my accounts and my wife’s joint account we had together they ended up closing my wife’s personal account and my sons account without telling me or getting my permission to do so. Resulting in a missed direct deposit. Not knowing if that direct deposit will be able to be sent as a check now and them informing us there is nothing they can do it puts us in a VERY frustrating position. After I told the employee “my wife will be by to close her account when she has time.”

OMG I was going to take my business else where because of how I was treated by another teller, but Christina saved the day. She told me that she really appreciates my business and convinced me to stay. Since then she has made it a point of acknowledging me on every visit. I have been self employed most of my life and it's admirable to see a manager like Christina effortlessly anticipate every customers needs without having to be asked by the client. A talent you rarely see especially at her age! Kudos to Banner Bank for hiring such a progressive manager. It shows there is still hope for the banking business in Bellingham. I am now a customer for life. I hope she never leaves, but if so I will be following right behind.

i called 7 times, got forwarded, the 8th time they picked up and i was on hold because they were busy, then the manager decided they were busy and sent wanted to transfer me to the Blaine branch as it was my original one( this is not the case it was in point roberts) after asking a little i was told they are "busy and they like to transfe.....ohh to the other branch that opened it". the first woman i spoke to after the branch transferred me the 1800 number the first 7 times told me well if they feel like picking up. i was charged an overdraft fee that did not occur. banner bank holds my deposits, i have presented their offices with proof of deposit from other banks, trusts, Ira's, and the state showing that it is in my account and final then i get it days later. get a real bank like chase not this small town stuff. P.s. (reason for 2 stars) the staff in the point roberts location were the nicest people in the world. do not do business with banner get a real bank that can handle a customer asking for a refund of $30 without jerking you around 3 different locations when they only have 6 locations. now i have to call the blaine one and hope for the best since the main headquarters could not help and told me to call blaine....maybe promote the staff in blaine to take over the whole company since the home office cant do the job.
