Bellingham use to provide outstanding customer service. Now with new management, that seems to be something of the past. Management shows no interest in taking care of customer concerns. Also very unknowledgeable about the banking industry.Sad to see such a wonderful place fail.Disappointed,

Highly recommend Carmen Denson for home financing needs! She was very responsive and able to get us excellent rates for our refinance. She is a clear communicator and really helped me understand the different options for my situation. Will call her first the next time we have home financing needs!

Don't bank here. My partner and I banked with umpqua 4 or 5 years. They have the worst business banking ever. You have to have a special app for your business account, you can't even SEE your account from your regular mobile app and the business banking is beyond clunky. It needs special super secure passwords that need to be changed constantly and the IT in charge of fixing problems with it always just thinks changing the password AGAIN will be the magical answer. We also had a problem right after we got our business account and didn't yet have a business credit card so we gave out our debit card to a merchant to pay for a service. The merchant then cleaned out our bank account for $36,000 and Umpqua said it was a problem with VISA (the debit card was issued through) and would not go to bat for us and we were never able to recover any of the money the merchant stole from us. You cannot afford to bank at Umpqua.
