Easy to locate at the airport. Shuttle available. Friendly, helpful employees. Will rent from Alamo again!

I recently rented a car through Alamo (via Costco- best price) and had an excellent experience with the service at the PHX airport and with the vehicle. The pick of our SUV was flawless! When we needed to exchange it (low oil pressure light came on) it was an easy call to them with clear instructions. We were then given another SUV for the remainder of the trip. Drop off was easy and the employees were great. Definitely rent from them !

I am extremely upset! I called before I departed that my flight was delayed and that I won't get in until past 11pm. I called because I knew their desk closes 10pm. The lady that worked at the counter at the Alamo/Enterprise Bellingham confirmed multiple times that they will stay until we arrive. Even I called a week ago to confirm and they said their policy is to wait 2 hours after desk closes for delayed flights. They will honor flights that initially scheduled to arrive before their closing time. They were aware that our flight was delayed. When we arrived around 11:20pm, the desk was closed!!! Whoever was working there completely stranded several passengers and they had to try to find other options. Caused a lot of chaos and frustration. 2 ladies had to take a cab to the border and find a another way to get picked up at the border. We ended up sleeping at the airport or lack of sleeping because the hotel nearby was sold out!!! The service# couldn't help me and told me to wait until the next morning. What kind of business is this! My travel plans have been turned upside and down and lost money on prepaid plans that I can no longer attend because whoever worked that evening LIED!!! The employee/manager who works there should be reprimanded for their actions. Beware to everyone who is renting from this place. Do not believe them if they say they will wait for you to arrive cause they will not wait! I see another posting on here that happened to them as well. And many more will occur. Never again.

Liars!! So bad!!!!!! My family arrived at Bellingham at 9pm and the office is closed.I called to make sure that they will be open several weeks ago because I noticed that their office closes at 6pm on a Saturday and worried that I wouldn't have a vehicle, because our flight arrives at 9pm and they said we are going to be fine, there would be a vehicle available for us.Now we have to stay at hotel additional expense because of bad information, like they don't talk to each other!! Arreggghhhh!

Awesome service. The people at the counter were very nice. Make sure to add the flight number to your reservation if you are arriving late. They will wait for you.

In a time of crisis, Elliot with Alamo came through. Because he was able to help my family while we were straded, we are forever grateful! They have earned a new customer.

I would give this company a better score. Granted I rented this vehicle during the southwest melt down. Waiting in line was about 2 hours, then about another hour for vehicle. The car itself was really nice, returned the car he next day and no one wanted to look over the car at return and was told all good. Here is the biggest issue a week later I receive an email that there is a damage claim. I took car of this car and took pictures of the car with no damage, yet they are trying to say there is? The email provides no information in the damage or pictures to show what the damage is. I have spent hours awaiting on phone to speak with someone. I either get disconnected or I have to work and can't spend anymore time on the phone. This is the first time in rental history this has ever happened to me. I looked on line and appears this company along with national and enterprise have a history of these type of claims. I would warn all to stay away as you might get such a claim with no proof or explanation.

I am very disappointed with Alamo at this point. I tried initially to get a large SUV and they kept trying to put me into a smaller vehicle. I kept telling them that I needed a 7 passenger vehicle. I had 6 adults and an infant in my family. I was picking up my vehicle and asked the guy if anyone had a Suburban. He said he would check and he actually returned with one. It was a 2023 model with 1500 miles. I drove it for 4 days into my 9 day trip and it operated flawlessly. We loved the vehicle! It had enough room for everyone and even with luggage.I had purchased fuel and stopped afterwards for lunch and sightsee. After a few hours we piled back into the burb to start the hour long trek back to our resort. I noticed it started to run rough and had a severe misfire and then the check engine light came on. I immediately pulled over and called roadside assistance. Gave them the details and told them that I will attempt to get back to the resort, but I wasn't positive that the vehicle would make it.I was able to get 11 miles before the vehicle began to die out and had stalled several times. I had multiple exchanges at this point with the roadside assistance personnel and I truly believed that we would have had another Suburban as soon as they found one. Then the hours turned to overnight. I was able to secure some hotel rooms for the night. I spoke to multiple people the next day and they couldn't locate another large vehicle for me. So I asked for two vehicles to help us get everyone back to the resort for our last day, and then back to Seattle. I was told by a woman that she will see what she can do. That was at 1130, I never heard from another person from Alamo. So after multiple attempts at contacting anyone and many hours later, i limped the Suburban to the airport ( 1.2 miles) and turned it in. I ended up renting two vehicles from Avis and we finished up our vacation. I still haven't heard a word from Alamo....

Even though the Bellingham airport in WA is small, the Alamo counter was open late at night to accommodate customers arriving on a flight that had been delayed. It was a big relief! Thank you, Alamo.

Don't use this place. There are others at the airport go to any of those. Guy wouldn't help me when I arrived right at 5. And like others have mentioned I had no way of knowing they closed at 5. No email no nothing. Now I'm stranded in the airport for 24 hours. :) thanks dude I hope you enjoyed those extra 10 mins that you couldn't use to help me.

I originally had a reservation with Alamo rental picking up on Sunday 8/29. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the counter at 7PM there was no one there to help. There was a hand written sign that said the office had closed at 5PM. I ended up having to stay the night at the airport hotel (walking right by the rental cars in the parking lot I rented) so I could pick up the car the next morning. It cost me extra money and delayed my trip plans by a day. It would have been nice to know that the counter closed at 5PM, through a text or something so that I could at least make plans. And there were other passengers from my flight that had rented at the Alamo/National/Enterprise counter waiting also.

I flew into Bellingham Washington with my family of six. We had reserved a rental car through a third party discount website but they never actually made the reservation and we found ourselves at the airport with kids, luggage, and no car during a rental car shortage (thanks COVID). Just as we were starting to panic the attendant at the Alamo counter called us back over and said he had found a car for us. He also gave us a fantastic rate (cheaper than our original discount booking) and sent us on our way with smiles on our faces. I was so impressed! I am forever an Alamo customer now.

I flew into Bellingham with my family of 6. We had reserved a rental car through a third party discount website, or so we thought. After trying to find our confirmation email and checking with all the rental car companies we realized the discount place had screwed up our reservation. The Alamo staff was AMAZING and somehow found us a car even though they were fully booked out. I can't say enough good things a out the service we received. Five stars!

It was a nice vehicle. Very clean and an easy process. I rented a mini-van because I had friends in town visiting and needed the space. What I was not expecting was so many “bells and whistles” loaded on the vehicle! Wow! It had Sirius XM and navigation, which was very helpful to have as we took many sight seeing day trips.
