I recently bought a used Subaru and I had to take it to the dealer for repair. I couldn't be happier with the service. Marcello Orlando was great in explaining what the issue was and when I should get my car back. They also offered me a ride back home. I got a call the same day saying my car was ready and a Uber ride back to the dealer was arranged at no cost. These guys really do a great job. A+++

I have never written a bad review, no matter how bad the service or experience was, but for this dealership I have made an exception. If you are looking for a Subaru, there are other dealerships in Seattle. While the sale was not a pleasant experience on its own, this review is in regards to the service that was provided, and after a month of trying to get this resolved, I was left with ignored calls and emails.I received a new 2023 Subaru 6 months ago from Michael's Subaru, in which I inquired about my first service/oil change, where my request was ignored by the Service Manager. I felt that getting this done at the dealership I purchased from was the right thing to do. I brought my car in with only 2000 miles on it, and was left with a car that was leaking oil. I ended up having to take my car to a mechanic to have it inspected and fixed. While getting a service as SIMPLE as an oil change was all that I needed, Michael's Subaru could not do this correctly, in which I had to pay to have my car serviced twice and my 6 month old car fixed. If you care about how your car runs, I would like to reiterate that there are other Subaru dealerships out there that may not lie to you and ignore your requests because they do not know how to handle it. Even after I found out that their service did not complete a simple oil change correctly, I did not want to write a bad review. After a month of my request to resolve the payment for an incorrect job, I find myself here with the worst customer experience I have ever had. PS - their worker stalled out in front of me while taking my car to the garage

Please, please buy another car brand and don't buy from this dealer ...I bought a 2023 Forester, and could not be more disappointed with the car and this dealership ...The reviews about Subaru's software issues and glitches are true ..This dealership dealings and responsiveness with post sales issues is (my experience), makes me regret buying here .. Strongly suggests another car and dealership ..

Impreza battery design undersized and multiple service returns. Refused to provide battery test result documentation to support diagnostics. Passed the buck to different service techs and blamed the user. Eventually was told they can't fix and not to return for service. Unbelievably awful experience.

I bought 2024 Outback Touring XT for my mom. Easy process and had financing approved ( I used Costco to get my pricing)! Bode was from the start professional and prompt. We had to wait a couple weeks to get it but was able to put a deposit. The trade in process was easy as well. Jason was our finance guy and got me a better rate than I had with the bank. There was a minor scratch on the top coat they buffed out by hand before leaving but are following up to get it taken care of.Subaru's are a must in the PNW, reliable and affordable, this is the 3rd one I've bought from this dealer.I also only get them serviced here- Kevin, Ian and everyone on the service side is great.

AWESOME Here is an excellent survey I would like People to know about ! I was driving the last couple days and I had a light come on that said all my Tires were Low so I drove in To Michael Subaru yesterday, and I met David the service advisor and ask him if he can look at my car and see what he can do to get these lights turned off. well with in 5 Min Luke, a technician came out and looked at my car And Filled all my Tires to fix the Code on the Dash Board. excellent customer service no charge and I was so happy . I have to say Michael's Subaru has the best service at any Subaru dealership that I have been to. They might be a little bit higher in price, but their techs are well trained and get the job done quickly. I recommend Michael Subaru service for all your service needs on your Subaru car .they Rock ..I have to admit is extremely hard to get good service these days, but Michael Subaru did a great job

Review regarding service center...... I reached out on-line to ask for a quote for wheel alignment. Simple, standard work. 30-60 minutes pending upon amount of work. Person contacts me to set up an appointment. I ask for a quote first. They don't know but will elevate it. 2nd person reaches out to set up an appointment for service. I once again ask for a quote. Oh, they don't know.... this happened 3x before the service manager reached out (4th person) with same question.. "understand you need an appointment?". Ground Hog Day....By that time, I already had it scheduled elsewhere.Who takes a car in for work with no estimate of what it will cost them? Really? This is what they expect of customers? Do they really believe customers are this stupid? If they can't handle such a simple request, I have zero intentions of visiting them. And there is another Subaru purchase in the family coming soon. This dealership will NOT be part of that.

Sales department was inflexible and unwilling too negotiate on a new vehicle. Claimed that they can sell at MSRP which may have been true but the chance to make a sale with a captive buyer wasn't a priority apparently. Took my business to Carter and sales process went smoothly and with a small discount. Michael's could have made a sale followed by several additional sales (through friends and family). In fact, my word of mouth directed no fewer than 4 prospective Subaru buyers to Carter which all resulted in new car sales over a period of three weeks. Hope the sales team at Michael's rethinks their strategy and learns how to bend.

Overall, they usually do repairs correctly. But my last oil change the plug was torqued so tight that a bolt extractor was necessary to remove it. The torque specs on it aren't that high, and over tightening the drain bolt risks damaging the drain pan or requiring replacement. Anyone who's familiar with oil changes should know this, especially at a dealership service center.

Easy 5. They have a key drop off for servicing. I had an issue with something that was under my car warranty. They explained the problem in great detail, including steps they did to resolve the issue, and detailed notes in case anything pops up down the line. I appreciated the smooth experience and will come back down the line for other maintenance things.

[FIRST REVIEW : February 06, 2021]In the last two and a half years owning a Subaru Impreza and having her serviced by other two locations <you can check out my other posts>, by far, Michael's Subaru of Bellevue is on my number one!The moment you walk in, you will be welcomed promptly. I could see and feel them with their smiling eyes [covid mask pun].They have more than enough number of Service Advisor to listen to your needs and will spend a good amount of time to make sure you are fully attended.Their waiting area is big enough for social[ism] distancing, with water, tea, and coffee while you wait. And for some no data person who cannot wait to check their only [social] online life, there is a free wi-fi.They have an all around well-maintained clean restroom for male female family and the gender-confused.Lastly, like with other service, appointments are recommended to ensure your slot. However, nothing beats the early bird, arrived the minuted before they open and you will breeze through.

1 star feels undeserving! HORRIBLE customer service! My husband & I bought a 2021 Forester late June because we welcomed a little one to our family.Fast forward to Oct 5th, my husband took in the vehicle due to an object hitting the windshield on the highway & shattering it.We were told that there was a back up therefore, it would take a minimum of 3 weeks for the order to process. Well ok, we understand. My husband asked if we could at least get a loaner vehicle for the time being since we would be with out a vehicle for at least a month. They said, no because they were also short on loaner vehicles. He went back & forth with them trying to see what our options could be, since they kept saying, THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO. After a long while they offered to call Renton Subaru. After "confirming" with Renton Subaru, they told my husband to go & that they would take care of him there. My husband drove 2hr at peek traffic time to get a loaner vehicle. To his surprise, Renton didn't even know he was coming & they as well have shortage. They stated that they didn't speak to anyone from Bellevue Subaru. RIDICULOUS POOR COMMUNICATORS!So, not only have they wasted our time, but they were no help. We bought the Subaru Equity Shield insurance back in June & was told by a finance representative that it was the best for our buck because if something happened we would just bring it to the dealer & they would take care of us with a loaner. LIES! They didn't take care of us.Its NOT PERMITTED to OPERATE vehicles with OBSTRUCTIVE view of the road, so its been sitting in the driveway since. Oh but we will have to still pay for the month that WE HAVENT USED THE VEHICLE.Most recently, we received an email stating that we had to bring in the car for service on Oct 23rd. We assumed it was for the repair of the windshield. My husband called out from work to take the car in early. To his surprise AGAIN, Subaru was clueless as to why he got that email since they hadn't yet received the new part. Which makes us wonder if they even placed the order since we didnt get a confirmation that it was placed. Nor have they called to inform us of where we are in the process. Did I mention...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!We understand there are backups but the way they handled this, is over the top RIDICULOUS.I wish I would have asked for the nice worker who was kind enough to vacuum the dashboard & front seats that were filled with broken glass. The only person who made us feel taken care of.We will update as we go about this issue. Hopefully Subaru will make a good name for themselves in Bellevue.
