They couldn't even give my son a mullet. Haircut was completely different from what was asked.

Outstanding haircut experience for our 4 year old! Husband also had a cut afterwards.
Went out of our way to go to this Bellevue location after seeing a friends’ daughter had a great time getting a haircut. They do a hair wash before the haircut if requested, haircut, style after the cut, a cute sprinkling of glitter in the hair, a nail polish manicure, ending with a balloon and little lollipop.
Note about the stylist and receptionist - Took a while for us to find the place on the third level of the Bellevue Mall (the Kids Cove) as we are not locals and there is only one way of getting to this small level, and we were 20 minutes late! I called and they said no worries since we have back-to-back appointments. When we got there, we apologized for being late, and there was absolutely no grumpiness from the receptionist or thestylist Julie! “No worries, you made it here.”
Julie was very good and fast! Got the TV going for our daughter and gave her an amazing layered shoulder-length cut, blowdry, braid, glitter and then off she went to the manicure table :) Husband had his cut with Julie too and she gave him exactly the style he requested with little instructions of his preferences. She also offered to trim his eyebrows lol! Will book with her again.
Love that they are open weekends. Bonus that you can stay for the play area upstairs in the kids cove, for 5ish years old and under. There are tables for adults just outside the play area and you can see over the wall inside at your little one playing, or snack there.

We have been using sharks for years. Can’t beat the team there and there’s a play place right outside the door if your early or want to play after!

I had been to sharkey's Bellevue once before and was incredibly unhappy with the service, care and cut. I gave them ONE more chance after specifically finding/searching for Lana. I'm glad I did, Lana was amazing with our son, giving him care, attention and a clean cut. He loved the process and I'll definitely be back. Be sure to book ahead with Lana!

My son has been coming here and getting his hair cut by Julie for at least the past 3 haircuts or so, and we love her. Our experiences have always been positive. The first time he was crying and screaming, but she handled him really well and was so patient with him. We’ve been happy with how his cuts have turned out and highly recommend Sharkey’s!

I took my son to Sharkey kids for a simple haircut. We walked in and he was taken by a barber named Jamama. She must not have had any experience as the cut was extremely poor, especially the side cut which was unevenly cut and looked terrible. Very poorly done for a $40 haircut. Will never go back there.

Bad bad bad!!!! They don’t know how to handle kids. No warm up or any technique to help the kid settle. She did it in 5 minutes rushed the whole time. I don’t know whats her name but never coming back!!
Many cuts on the side too.

Edit: Changing my review from 1 star to 3. They called me and apologized, she also said that they will do a training session with the stylist and will be refunding me the cut. There was a miscommunication between the stylist and front desk, as the braid should not have been charged.
Went to get my daughters hair cut yesterday. They asked if we would like a braid in her hair, I said yes please, they put the tiniest braid on the one side of her head and charged me $23!!!! it wasn't a French braid or anything special, something I could easily do at home, and I'm not good at braids.
When we got home, I had a chance to look closer at her hair, I am not happy. Her fringe is cut shorter on the one side and also one side has more hair taken from the back than the other side. It was $80 for a the worst braid and hair cut ever. Will not go back, and will not recommend this to my friends. Do not go here, over priced and terrible hair cuts!!!!!

We recently got my 2 year old son's hair cut here, after it's of searching. At first we were skeptical but I couldn't be happier with the result! I can't remember the name of the woman who cute my child's hair but she was so patient and sweet! She made the entire experience exciting and calm at the same time. She made sure my son was happy and entertained/distracted and the haircut was absolutely perfect and is growing out so nicely!! She was incredibly nice and made sure we liked the result and was very kind when we asked for the length to be a bit shorter. It's a fun, kid friendly, happy place that we will absolutely be visiting again.
