Proceed with extreme caution. We got an "off the cuff" estimate - as he calls it for 800 dollars that brought us to do business with him. We left our parts, and after he was done, he called us with a final bill for 8 thousand dollars in labor. The process is set so once you are in agreement, they will not stop billing you for work that is set based on what they determine needs to be done. We consulted with our lawyer, and since he has this written in his agreement, it is unfortunately a legal practice. Please read all material carefully provided before signing anything. The work was good, and he gave us a discount after we pushed back on his business model. I would never have committed to this if I had the pricing upfront. There is no warranty on new parts purchased, so Just do your research, and you perhaps can buy all you need online, including old parts, save money and the stress of dealing with Dennis.

Shop carefully and you can find some great tools here. I particularly like the selection - woodworking, outdoors, pneumatic, automotive, containers, and more. Staff is very helpful.

Really cool shop with everything you might need for your furniture, from brass wheels to drawer pulls, from plain to fabulous. If you don't see a joke you like on the wall Dennis will provide plenty more tobtickke your funny bone.

After years of having bathroom fixtures from Lowe's, Home Depot, etc., rust, corrode or break, when we did a bathroom remodel we went to Old and Elegant for new fixtures - tub and shower, sink, faucets, paper holders. When I took the fixtures, the difference from the other stuff was apparent - I could tell by the feel the difference in quality. That was more than ten years ago. Everything looks as good as when installed, nothing has failed or needed repair.

I was looking for a high quality towel rod for my master bath that was non-standard length and finish and that would go well with the other existing fittings. Places like Home Depot, Lowes, and even McLendon's were non-starters: Old and Elegant came through with mix and match components and metal refinishing. An Old Bellevue gem.

This shop is a home and bathroom hardware delight! The Owner's are fabulously helpful, and have a great sense of humour and honest knowledge. My family has been going to Old & Elegant for decades.
