“We had some issues with the heat at the place we were staying, enter in Home Depot for a space heater.I always find it difficult to navigate at Home Depot and someday I'd love if they had an easy QR code for a location specific map, but once we found the item we needed it was quick to bring it up to the counter with one of their rolling carts.Although it was friendly, the service wasn't especially quick, but the item we chose worked well and we had no complaints. All in all this Home Depot definitely came through for what we needed.”
“I am not from the area, but my uncle was celebrating his 75th birthday in Seattle, is a gardener, and LOVES flowers. So, his nieces and nephews provided centerpieces for his birthday dinner. The Cedarhouse staff was kind and helpful. They created gorgeous bouquets that were raved about by the guests, and delivered them to the restaurant. My uncle loved them - thank you for helping in making us a part of his birthday celebration!”
“We have been using Burien Bark for years and the customer service, help with product and delivery driver is still all top notch! Thanks for help covering the dirt and i appreciate the short notice for delivery”
“New to town and new to plants. Walked in yesterday an hour before they closed, and was greeted first thing and the gentleman working was so nice, knowledgeable and friendly. I told him I was looking for new plants but didn't have much information on the types. He directed me to plants that would be most suitable for my lack of lighting in my apartment and pet friendly because I happen to have two dogs. Glad I stopped in. I bought 3 plants will def return for more and recommend it to others. The only thing was the parking it's street parking or you can risk and park at the Amazon fresh parking garage. Very affordable too I spent I think $45 in total for plants and one with pot included! They look healthy and ready to grow beautifully in my new place.”
“Have always enjoyed stopping in here, whether for fruits/veggies or Christmas trees and greenery! This year we ended up getting two (I know, my hubby says kind of excessive?) beautiful Christmas trees- and it’s an enchanting Xmas wonderland at our house.?❤️? TIP: never hurts to ask about a multi-purchase discount. We did and they knocked off a nice chunk!”
“First time visiting this market. Absolutely beautiful and so many different offerings. Clean, fresh produce and quality plants and flower baskets. Very friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely shop here again.”
“Its a nursery that we stop by once in a while. They have some good collection of trees and plants that we get to plant for our summers.
They also rotate trees. We love to pick some roses and small plants. I highly recommend to check this place as the staffs are super friendly.
They also pointed me some other nurseries where i can plants, if they dont have them at this location.”
“This is a real saw shop and more. You need your saw serviced or other power tool serviced? You came to the right place. There used to be lots of these small saw shops around, but no more. Except for this one. Your saw will get the love and care it needs right here from a professional and enthusiast. You found your home shop. What a relief to find there’s still a real saw shop around!”

I loved that there were seed potatoes and worms/bees for purchase on top of a full spectrum of really good and affordable soils. The plant variety isn't bad either with lots of interesting trees, veggies, herbs, and flowers. The staff were oh so friendly and kind, and are very knowledgeable. I've seen the cats on their socials but didn't find them (a great excuse to go back)!”
“I first found Root Connection and went there for the first time on a cold early spring day. The proprietor was very kind in her introduction to the property and engaging with all of the other community farm members. Being unfamiliar with this farming model, I purchased a single day membership, toured the property, picked some produce out of the farm. It was one of the most wholesome of experiences I've ever had.”
“Last month K delivered 10 cu yd of unscreened arborist chips. The experience and quality of products exceeded my expectations. Every interaction I had was friendly, helpful, and respectful. I spoke with the office manager (Kelly) several times and they were able to answer my many questions which helped me feel confident I was getting the right product. The delivery from K was fantastic. They were extremely careful and helped unload in a very tight driveway. K is an impressive driver. He was also one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met. After he unloaded he asked me about my project and was genuinely interested. Not only was he extremely professional and great driver, he was very uplifting and positive to interact with. I have nothing but good things to say about Sunset materials and their amazing employees: especially Kelly and K. Highly recommend for the great product, great prices, and great people!”
“I love this store! It's a true blue old school hardware store that almost always has what I need as a fix it myself homeowner and gardener. Great tools, supplies, plus the more fun necessities in all housewares every season including specialty items. You could stock your whole kitchen with quality things from here plus have great gifts and kid's stuff too. The staff is totally accessible and knowledgeable and nice and I can be in and out fast. I go several times a month and can avoid all the big stores that take too much time and are harder to navigate and often disorganized. I highly recommend trying our small stores first and this one is exemplary. Plus it smells like a real hardware store and just opening the door is a pleasure to my senses. Long live tradition that is high functioning and prices are no more than the big stores, and often less. 5 stars and this review is long overdue for how much I love it. Going there now for 2" nails, a garden tarp, bathroom cleaning wipes, laundry soap, a new teapot, and to return some electrical supplies that I ended up not needing.”
“What are wonderful hidden gem! The woman who owns this nursery is so entertaining and really knows her plants! The prices are more than reasonable and there is a nice selection of plants. Definitely going back!”
“Smaller hardware storw than Home Depot or Lowe's. I rotate here when I'm looking for something that the others don't have like better selection of screws and fasteners, bolts and washers, etc.”
“Extremely helpful staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to help me and my friend with our elaborate project. We cannot thank you guys enough!”
“You know prices at home Depot are unbeatable even Amazon can't offer this kind of service before you buy you can actually see the real stuff you really need if an emergency. You just can't afford to wait for returns and lose time and money.”
“The best plant store in the greater seattle area. This family owned business really knows their stuff and are not only helpful, but truly care about their customers.”
“I have loved northwest gardening and landscaping since 1983, that's a very long time! Geez, I guess I am old now. That being said, there is a LOT to learn about landscaping materials. This place has the BETA INFO on NW landscaping...There is absolutely no comparison the JOES DARK FINE AGED bark. This product is highly recommended for our regions yards and landscapes because it gives a natural "high end" finish and accent color to the views from inside your home as well as the presentation of your landscape. Dark fine aged bark is a family legacy process that excludes dyes, excessive dark composts and chemicals that other similar competing products have included. Dark fine aged bark is naturally dark through an aging process that produces an acidity compatible to northwest native plants. Layed out in 2-4 inches it successfully hinders the germination of weeds from underneath and propigation of unwanted noxious weed seeds from the surface. I don't know what it is about having a giant pile of rocks in my driveway to shovel into a wheelbarrow and strategically settle them into areas of my yard but I strongly recommend it as a therapy for the soul. Joe's Landscape Supplies has a keen knowledge of lawn, soil, and landscape construction products. There are also super savings on pavers and bricks if you look for them. A cool idea is to make walkway steps out of the 1860 Pioneer Square cobble bricks a super unique antique hipster Seattle yard amendment for sure. Joe...We appreciate you. Thanks so much!!”
“The traffic light to get out of Home Depot parking lot is terrible. It takes long time to open. Every two me I visit I stuck
Not Home Depot fault but I m sure they can do something.”
“Great experience using the pickup service recently. Thane went out of his way to assist me and walk me through the process. Great location with easy parking and good selection.”
“Made a second visit to this location and needed advice of an electrical nature. Good advice was given cheerfully and I am appreciative. Some parts were hard to find and selections were not as great as I would have preferred, but all in all a successful visit.”
“We were helping my daughter put together her new bedframe. One of the screws would not go in. It turns out they forgot to tap that particular hole to receive a screw. I took the part and the screw to this Home Depot. The person in tools determined the size of the screw and pointed me to the appropriate tap and tap handle. I successfully used these and we were able to finish assembling the bed frame. Excellent customer service!”

“Customer service A+: Came into the store with a very unusual restoration project. Ryan in the paint department have some of the best customer service i’ve ever received at a big box store to help match every color that was available. His patience and attention to detail was incredible, even helping other customers in the middle of my rabbit hole project. I will definitely continue to come back to this Home Depot”
“Power tool rentals are in the back left of the gardening section of Home Depot. I rented power tools to mount my TV & sound bar. The tools were in ok condition & good quality. They don’t rent drill bits, but I was able to buy some in the main store.”
“I got a LG 3 in 1, 8000 bcu, portable air conditioner unit today. The employees not only helped me find where they were, but also helped me find the kind I was looking for! As far as the unit goes, I highly suggest it, it is currently cooling 650sq ft and only rated for half that!”

“Great place. They have a bit fewer choices in specialized areas but make up for it in alternatives. Friendly staff, more experienced people have great knowledge. Highly recommended.”
