This company is horrific and their business practices are illegal. Run, run, run. Be prepared for nobody in the service department to help you and for the drivers to add hundreds and hundreds of dollars to dollars to your total for things that should have been included in the quote. I'm paying $5k for a $2.6k quote for 150sq ft worth of boxes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I have been calling since the second week of August to get an idea of when my stuff will come. I was told "a couple of days" then "next Monday or Tuesday" and then "I'll call you back" but nobody ever called back. I was asking because I had a business trip coming up and needed to plan since it was out of state. Once I left for my business trip, I get a text from the driver saying, "I'll be there tomorrow." I call and say I've been asking for weeks and I'm out of state can they deliver on Saturday and they tell me, "that'll be an extra $700." So I had to CANCEL MY BUSINESS TRIP to BUY AN EXTRA PLANE TICKET back to get my stuff. They also told me it'll be an extra "$300 to move stuff from an 18-wheeler back to a van. They had my address from the beginning and could have included it in the quote. Had I known this was going to be my experience I would have put all my stuff in storage and left with nothing. You're better off burning your items and starting over than dealing with these con artists. Update: mover came and I'm missing ALL my irreplaceable original artwork and dog kennel. Who knows what else is gone, will find out once I unpack. Please do not use these people, I have no idea who they're paying to give them high ratings.

Definitely do not use this company! Items were either lost or stolen, items they have refused to cover including an expensive table saw. Our lawn mower was damaged and even the movers agreed that they damaged it. They packed heavy items on top of fragile boxes and ruined thousands of dollars of things. Zero communication including giving us zero heads up they were arriving after telling us they had no idea where our stuff was or when it was arriving, even said it had been delivered at one point when it hadn’t been. They have ignored all requests and never followed up. We are thankful we sold most of our furniture with our house because we now know it would have all arrived damaged. We’ve given them the opportunity to make things right and will now let our credit card handle it. Red flag is when you can’t even see reviews on Facebook but I will make sure this review ends up every possible place it can! STAY AWAY!!

They convince you to buy the insurance, but then don’t reimburse you for the things they lost. And they do lose things! I either wanted my things, or the money to replace them.

I hired Lile/North American Van Lines to move my family from Washington to Texas. I elected to pay for the full coverage for insurance as the rep. advised everything would be covered. I had the movers pack all my China and I packed the rest. When the movers arrived they were on their phones most of the time, at one point I tried to talk to the driver and he was chatting with someone and had no time for me. When my stuff arrived to Texas the movers literally were running up and down the ramp putting stuff in my shop. I noted a couple of items to the driver that were damaged, it wasn't until later I noticed all the crushed boxes. I sent a claim in for items that were damaged mostly from the crushed boxes. I was advised today they will not cover the items I packed as the contract only covers what they packed. so, apparently they can smash, crush or do whatever to your boxes and hold no responsibilty to the items that are damaged!

Used North American Van Lines to move office furniture from NY to Seattle. Aaron Bacon was incredibly friendly, answering all my questions, and responding quickly to any communication. Pick up and delivery went smoothly. Excellent customer service all around; thank you!

Worst movers I have ever experienced!!! Incompetent and inconsiderate staff. I wouldn't trust these people to ship something locally much less across the country ever again. Be aware if you use this company, the communication you will receive will be zero related the status of your move. They will delay, delay and delay and then increase the charges by 40% from original estimate with no back up. Find another mover!! I've moved every five years my entire life and this move with this company is the worst I have ever seen.
