I have been a long time student of this studio, and have been taken good care of by the teacher I worked with. He was often picky with my playing even as a veteran musician, which is what you need in order to improve. He can be picky even when I play bits of the music I have played all the way back in middle school. That's when you know you have a good teacher, when you play music you think is easy, but your teacher can still nitpick little details in your playing

I've taken guitar lessons at MWNW for well over 10 years. For me, lessons are a fun way of getting out of my tech-heavy work headspace snd focusing on creative, right-brained stuff. The instructors are great -- well-versed, experienced, and focused exclusively on music education and performance. I've learned a lot of different styles and songs. My guitar teacher has become a good friend. Everyone can play music, and it's not just boring theory and scales. You choose your path. Do you want to go deep on the theory, or do you want to get a greater sense of performance? Or both? It's up to you. But don't let age or inexperience keep you from enjoying music. I highly recommend MWNW for music education.

My older daughter has taken lessons at Music Works for over 6 years, starting with flute, then adding voice and guitar lessons. Music Works really made her fall in love with music. The teachers are amazing and connect with her not just as a student but as a person. I highly recommend Music Works to anyone wanting to study music!

My daughter has taken lessons through Music Works for over six years, and over this time she has had a wonderful experience exploring her love of music. She started by taking flute lessons and has expanded to voice and guitar. Her teachers have always been incredibly supportive, providing positive feedback while encouraging her to expand her horizons and grow her skills. The teachers don't just teach music but they help to build life skills and overall confidence with their students. Thanks to Music Works, my daughter is now seriously considering majoring or minoring in Music in college. I would highly recommend Music Works to anyone looking for music lessons or camps.

They do a upfront charge before any service is started, quite fishy. They might be stealing money from potential client.

I called 3 weeks ago left a message never got a return call. I called last week got times for a specific guitar teacher. I called back the next day and a different person said the teacher didn't have that spot available, that I had been given wrong info. So I chose a different time and the receptionist said she was new and couldn't register my daughter. She took my email and said someone would email me. Three days later no one had emailed. I sent an email yesterday and finally someone called me back only to tell me this teacher did not have private lessons, only group lessons. Such poor customer service. Don't waste your time.

I've been bringing my kids to Music Works for years, after my niece had great experiences studying clarinet there. My son has studied trumpet for 10 years with three different instructors, each better than the last. My daughter studied both piano and violin at Music Works before settling on guitar and voice. And now my significant other is starting electric bass lessons! Anytime anyone I know is looking for music lessons, I refer them to Music Works.

My son and I have been active with Music Works for years. The access to great private instruction is fantastic, of course. The faculty is top notch. But the ensemble experiences are what really take things up a notch. Music Works offers invaluable music education and performance resources that really can’t be provided by most school music programs. My son (now a student at the Eastman School of Music) was exposed to incredible jazz and Afro-Cuban ensemble experiences from a very early age. What a difference these programs made to his development!

Great teachers and staffs at music works. My son's trumpet instructor is Bruce Staelens, he teaches not only good music but also life skills to my teenager which I am greatly appreciated! The staffs are also very responsive to schedule the lessons for us! Thank you!

High quality instruction from excellent teachers! My daughter took flute lessons from Torrey Kaminski from middle through high school and my son is still taking trumpet lessons from Bruce Staelens. Both my kids grew immensely as musicians and have benefitted greatly from their lessons with both these professional musicians and wonderful instructors. I recommend the school and their teachers highly to anyone interested in mastering an instrument.

This is hands down the best place for kids to learn music when it comes to caliber and experience of instructors. Most of them have years of teaching experience and formal education in music. My boys have been learning drums and piano there for two years. The have made huge strides thanks to the excellence of teaching there.

so happy we found this place. My son signed up for 3 instruments lessons with different teachers and he is comfortable & happy. We love each teacher. Mike West - Saxaphone teacher. Erika Fiebig - Cello teacher. Fred Hoadley - Piano teacher. I am feeling blessed, because my son is doing awesome, and that's why I recommend them as best teachers at MusicWorksNW
