Big thanks for Willem and Nick, who were wonderful and helpful when I came in to have my ukulele checked. I had strung it myself, and thought I might have made a mistake. Willem looked it over, assured me it was fine, tightened and clipped the strings and even tuned the thing for free. While he was doing that, Nick made some suggestions for a ukulele teacher, told me the cost, etc . Both of them were patient and helpful. Such a great shop. I'll be back there for whatever I need.

Great for kids learning music professionally and really kind and helpful staff. They helped me get a single string I needed for my guitar when guitar center gave me bad experience and didn’t help me at all. I loved that I came here instead! Thank you!

Savon has provided outstanding service in help our daughter select new instruments, spending considerable time sourcing the models she wanted to try and giving her a showcase so she could compare them. As always, Savon and Nick are easy to work with and great at working with students and parents to make music a lifelong passion.

I recently rent a student yamaha flute for my daughter from this store which turns out to be a great experience. Nick and Stefan were very friendly and they guided us in the whole process. We got the exact flute we want and the price is reasonable. I really appreciate their help. If you need an instrument for your kids, I would strongly suggest this place as your first stop.

I was there about 7pm for an instrument rental, the staff didn’t even want to help but only asked me to finish the online form. I was standing there with my kid and finally submitted my request then got a very old and dirty clarinet. Then they convinced me to invest a higher quality and more expensive music stand, I noticed it’s too bulky for my kids once I get home. The second day I called back immediately when their shop opened about noon, the staff told me that they don’t take the return if I don’t have the receipt.Very poor service, attitude and instrument quality.

As a music teacher, I really appreciate how Music & Arts gives a 30% discount to music educators. It shows how much they value the work we do! The people working there were so nice and helpful. I was looking and browsing for some teaching books and they had most of the books I was looking for. It's just fun to spend half hour there going through and getting inspired by different books you might come across. They seem to have a much larger inventory for piano pedagogy books, but their string section is still decent sized. In terms of musical supplies like violin shoulder rests, strings, dampits, etc, they have a small selection. I would probably just buy most of those things online, but if you're looking for convenience and basic brands, they will likely have them.

Highly recommended for music equipment rental. Real experienced people runs the shop. Order online and pick up, and any issues are resolved quickly in the store.
