Did not buy shoes but was very happy with customer service. There was one person working at the store, and he was happy to bring me pair after pair of booties, trying to find something that would fit my wide feet. I found that the made in France Mephisto shoes with natural rubber soles were quite comfortable, but my feet were just a little bit too wide for them and were hanging over the sole on the side. I have been in a lot of shoe stores lately and I really appreciated that he didn't want to argue with me about what my foot did - or didn't - need! He was very nice about "this one might work, try it and we will see." These are very high quality shoes, made to be kept for a long time and resoled. I hadn't tried on this brand before and I felt like there were stylish options (platform combat boots, black booties, etc) in addition to the more sensible options. These shoes are expensive but intended for folks that will keep them for a long time. It was an entirely pleasant experience even if I didn't buy shoes.

I have purchased several pairs of Mephisto shoes from this business over the past 25 years, and have always had excellent service whether the day's agenda involved purchasing, fixing, reconditioning my shoes, or replacing worn insoles. Michael is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to selecting the right shoes, and ensuring that they fit properly. I've never been a fan of buying clothing and shoes online. Mephisto shoes are handcrafted, and there can be slight variations in fit. Definitely best to try on the pair you want. This store is small, but if you can catch Michael when he's not swamped with other customers, you will be rewarded with very attentive service.

I ordered online and received an email to verify size (even though my order confirmation had the correct size). I emailed back to confirm and didn't get a reply. I emailed AGAIN a few times asking about shipping or if I should make my way to the store for pick up - did not get a reply. Finally just called and was told they told out of the size. Were they just going to keep my money without telling me my size was out? I was REALLY looking forward to these sandals too. Oh well.

Holly went way beyond the call of duty to help me with my order. These are expensive but well worth it. The quality is top-of-the-line well beyond Birkenstocks. They lasted over 4 years after being worn every day! And they give me orthopedic support since they're my primary shoes I wear all the time. Anyhow I give kudos to Holly and her store.

This man was extremely rude and Literally stared at me for several minutes for parking in the "reserved for Mephisto" parking spot ( thinking i was not going into the store) I had every intention on going inside Mephisto and getting my dad a pair shoes he wanted for Christmas. I was on the phone with my sister while she was giving me an update on some tough life situations she was battling and he just stared as the picture shows. I absolutely will go to another store for his shoes. Just for the way that man made me feel sitting in my car before I went into the store to purchase. Not a way to treat customers. If you see this man, leave and go back another time.

Excellent service from Sean. He was absolutely one of the best knowldged person about shoes. Very patiently he worked to get the right size for me. Will buy again! They pay for parking sign so they can keep the business for their clients not for some Starbucks coffee people. I parked in front of the store so I can buy my shoes. I exchanged the shoes with a differnt size because I wore them at home to tes NOT in the street. Please give a credit for their good services !! Great place to buy Mephisto shoes than Nordstrom because they have all collection and not the newest ones.

Love their shoes! A friend of mine recommended this brand and took me to this store. I go there only once or twice a year, but when I did, I have always ended up buying at least 2 pairs of the shoes. There are always sample shoes on sale. I have foot problems, so I need great shoes, and these shoes are super comfy and stylish! Great customer service too!

I splurged on these $350 shoes so that I'd have comfortable dressy shoes for walking about LA. These are literally the opposite of comfortable. After 2 separate days of wearing them and only walking a few miles each time, I had bruising and blisters on the bottoms of my feet both times which lasted for the rest of my vacation. My feet probably would have done better in anything else... stilettos. I just stopped by the store to show the owner the awkward ridge in the arch but they denied seeing or feeling it and would not do an exchange. I stopped by the goodwill afterwards to drop them off. I definitely don't recommend this place or their shoes.

I am sharing a horrible experience-- this store has a super vague return-policy; I was trying to return an item within 2 days of the initial sale and they said no --sales are final? seriously ? how such a thing is possible when you don't indicate anything in your receipts .... Sorry Bellevue people, do NOT even go near this store....! I wish someone could reply to complains and make customers feel better (if they have Customer-service)
