I've been here several time and had a great experience. Like with any established you go long enough you will have something to complain about. I've been getting my nails and feet done since I was 18 . This place is by far one of the best. Dont let someone elses experience change your mind. We all have different options on what great service . Thank you for always making our experience good.

I have come to this salon for 4 years . I had the best service . They did an excellent job and they were all so kind . I highly recommend this Nail Salon.

New management is no good. The vibe and service is no longer what it used to be before the new owner took over. STACEY (top nail tech at Medina) is over at Simply Nails near Crossroads and I couldn't be happier with her work and the prices are so much better!!

The environment is not very relaxing. I got a gel pedicure and the quality was pretty low. Had to correct the technician a few times on nail shape and asked her to cut very short, which she didn't do. She was gracious enough when asked to correct it, but the owner started criticizing me and talking trash in Vietnamese. That was what made this experience a mediocre one to a bad one. I do not recommend this establishment.

*NEW MANAGEMENT * I called to schedule an appointment with Ngoc and a male answered and said she is there. I tripled check because Ngoc and Stacey is really gentle with my cuticle. I came in and another woman told me sorry that her husband was confused. I told her that her husband said yes 3 times that she was there. So the owner did my nails and CUT my skin. She was so focused on other clients she wasn’t looking at my cuticles while cutting. It was sore after leaving the nail shop and this is the very reason why I’m writing this review. It’s so sad because I been coming here for many years and now I will never come back unless the original girls are there. I hope to find Stacey or Ngoc one day. Also, none of the same girls are there and prices are higher.

Okay. BEWARE. You see all the positive reviews here? It makes you think you want to give this place a chance? I need you to know that any of those reviews that are from before like September 2023 are for AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SALON. Hear me out.
I have been a diehard regular of Medina Nails since 2008. 15 years of at least monthly, if not more often, visits. In late 2023 the owner sold this salon to new management, and they are an absolute disaster. There is not a SINGLE technician I recognize from before. They’re all new because all the amazing previous employees jumped ship. (If you’re looking for Stacy, she’s at Simply Nails in Bellevue now. If you’re looking for Amy, I’m sad to say this change made her leave the industry entirely, and I’m heartbroken).
It was my last appointment that I decided I will never be returning here again. I called for an appointment, and was told, word for word, that “Amy is available at 2pm.” I show up at 2, and at 2:10 another woman walks in with an appointment with Amy. I thought she was confused, but the manager instructs Amy to do that woman’s nails first. I have a 6 month old at home, and can’t just sit around while I’m skipped over when I had an appointment. But beyond that horrible scheduling and management, I have literally never had a worse pedicure in my life from the woman who did my toes. It was actually painful every step of the way as she pulled on the cuticles, and dug under my nails cleaning them out. I was sitting there wincing and at one point as she fumbled about she said “sorry I’m new,” which, sure, LITERALLY EVERYONE IS new because this is not the same salon at all, but even if you’re new shouldn’t you have gone through some training and be semi-competent?
The hilarious part is it was even more expensive than before too! So they upped the prices for shoddy work and horrific customer service.
Anyway, RIP to Medina Nails, it’s incredibly sad and an end of an era.
P.S. You see any recent 5 star ratings? They're all from accounts that have never rated or commented on any other business. That doesn't seem shady at all.... ;)

Rushed me out with nails still wet. They Smudged the Polish on my toe when putting on my shoe. Poor job on repair.
Price increase while service decreased.

Sad transition with the new management. Quality of the work is poor and oh, by the way, if you have a gift certificate purchased previously they won't honor it. After 5 years, I won't go back.

I have beeen coming to this nail salon regularly for years. With the new owner, the quality and vibe has gone down hill. The place is empty and it took almost two hours to just get shellac nails done. I will not be returning

Really disappointed. Been coming here for 5 years and the last visit - the nails started cracking the next day with shellac !! The change of ownership has negatively impacted this business

Poor time management from the staff. My sister made an appointment for us at 10am for shellac pedicures. The nail techs took over an hour to work on me and by that time, I’ve only gotten my gel removal. They were working on other people that were there after us, which is poor customer service.
I got up and told them I’m happy to pay for the gel removal but I can’t stay any longer. I had an appointment after at 11:30 I still had to get to. By the time they started working on me it was 11:04am. The lady said I can come back after my appointment at 11:30am, but unfortunately, my first impression was disappointing to say the least.

I've been coming here for a few years. All the gals are very sweet and do a great job. They know what color polish I want (I am boring and use the same color every time.)Don't hesitate to come here, you won't be disappointed!
