Came in just to look around. Was kind of intimidated by such a nice store but all the girls were SO nice and they had such a good vibe. Laura was super great, gave great suggestions on clothing and her style is just I had to narrow down my choices because I wanted almost everything she suggested I tried on. I'm always nervous about new clothing being plus sized but walked away with a jacket and sweater. She made sure that my jacket fit right and said they had up to a size 16

People who think an animal should pace back and forth in a cage for 8 months only to get a few seconds of freedom before being killed don't deserve to wear clothes. Seriously, stop with the senseless barbarianism.

I was reading how this brand literally tortures foxes for their products. Horrific.

Sweet helpful associates, they were not pushy at all as others mentioned

Please do not buy at this store. The manager is a very incorporative lady. She is unwilling to help. I had an exchange and she refused to take it in to send it back. Or give me a store credit. She told me that the owner will not allow it ! This is a corporate run store. And I am sure Max Mara corporate would not be happy the bad reputation she is giving the brand. These coats are expensive and customers should be treated well ! Never shop here

I adore Max Mara but unfortunately the negative reviews for this store are accurate. I walked in wearing items previously purchased from this store and was pounced upon and overwhelmed with items and attention. I was sold the wrong size item, no refunds. I didn't realize they gave me the wrong size until I got home. Reading all these reviews, I see my uncomfortable experience was not unique and definitely done deliberately to scramble up my decision-making. It was certainly quite different from when I bought my items a while back. I will be giving my business to the Vancouver BC and Honolulu locations instead.

Stepped into the store only to be greeted by a "ni-hao" from an old white lady (I dont speak mandarin), the entire time sale associates were trying so hard to sell their stuff. Asked a question about one of their clothes but got a chuckle back. They're ruining the brand.

I went in the store carrying my own Max Mara jacket. Associates made eye contact with me but didn't greet or offer to help me. I quickly left without ever stopping to pick up or try on anything. A few minutes after leaving the store, an associate came up to me and grabbed my jacket out of my hand and began examining it. Then she asked me "is this yours?" Baffled, I replied "yes" while thinking who else would it be. She then handed my jacket back to me and then left. It hit me after that she was trying to accuse me of stealing the jacket. The whole experience was disrespectful and egregious. I received no apology and no explanation. I wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND shopping here. And I am glad to see the other reviews agree.

A luxury brand ruined by Mandarin-speaking sales people profiling you and fighting over you like you’re a walking gold chest. Laura kept introducing herself and following me around and talking nonstop even after I expressed my annoyance. Beyond rude.2 Chinese sales ladies kept talking over each other and recommending me different things without even giving me a second to think if I like it. I speak perfect English. They have really great coats and SOME of the clothes are gorgeous but the rest is whatever meh. When I didn’t like the things they showed me they said they wanted me to “understand” the clothes and different ways to wear them. “Understand” what? It’s ugly, it’s not my style, and even if I wear it in different ways it will still be ugly to me because I have my own taste. So rude and entitled. Why would I spend so expensive for a cheap experience.

Didn't inform the customer the dress is the wrong size. I would avoid the store in the future.

Zero star. Worst shopping experience. The lady speaking Mandarin is rude and made me and my friend feel very uncomfortable. First time being offended by a sales person from greeting.

The customer service at the Max Mara in Bellevue square is beyond poor. I came to Seattle from Canada for the day. I shop at Max Mara all the time. At this location the sales women just stood there. Did not even greet me and my friend. Nor did they offer any help or make suggestions. They just stood there like statues. If you go into a store one would expect to be greeted and some sort of conversation should take place about what someone is looking for and how can they be helped.

I was hoping to buy a coat for my mom as a birthday gift. However, the sale was so rude today! The sale spoke mandarin and gave us an extremely small coat to try. I told her that was not the right size since my mom is very tall. However, the sale told me my mom needs to try it first then she will get the right size for us. Very racist!

Max Mara Bellevue staff need help. It is by far the worst services I have ever received in the global Max Mara chain. I bought a nice cashmere sweater for a friend as a gift. They don't have gift boxes and the staff didn't know there's such a thing as gift receipt. The lady was happy to simply put the print out receipt in the gift bag. There's no interest of customer obsession in this particular store which is highly disappointing.

They profile you and try to sell the most expensive thing they think you can afford ? doesn't matter if it looks good on you or not ? if it's expensive and they think you can afford it, they will push for that item ? ignores my requests on the type of coat I want, and just gets whatever is most expensive ?Fellow max mara potential purchasers, purchase online on their site, the sale markdown is much more online vs the store's markdown for end of the season. Plus you don't have to deal with this location if you purchase online ?
