Went in for a consultation for my hair, I had previous black box hair dye so I knew it wasn’t going to be easy to get from black to the color I wanted. Elina was so helpful and honest about the process how it would look like if I don’t want to wait a bit until my hair grows out. So professional! Definitely making her my hairstylist! (I’ve been to a whole bunch before meeting Elina, they all just didn’t care about my hair and would go ahead and do it) so I’m glad to be starting my hair journey with her!!!!

I swear by this place and ELINA!! Elina is a hair color/cut GODDESS ! She literally saves my hair and has repaired it anytime I decide to do something dumb and go to another salon. I have came in with orange roots, backwards balayage and all of the above. I can’t beloebe how blessed I am that she’s so talented and gifted to change how people feel about their hair and appearance. She ALWAYS excels expectations and I swear by her and her work! Thank you Elina for being my life and hair savor!!!

The owner of this place has spent her entire life dedicated to beauty. She is the first person in Bellevue who introduced threading some 30 years ago. She picks her staff meticulously. She stands by the quality of her and her salon's work. I've tried deviating to other places that are closer to home or friends insisted I try, but I keep coming back for the impeccable quality of beauty services at Magic Beauty.

Worst experience I had ever had! Came in for a trim, I specifically asked to not cut more then 1-2 inches, and layer only in the front. The hairdresser cut more than 12 inches!!! And when I started crying telling her this is not what I asked for, she blamed me for saying that is not what II tol her -when I even had a picture I showed her. The worst part was when the owener started YELLING at me saying I am making her hairdresser feel nervous. I told her I am the customer and I had to right to say I am not satisfied with the haircut, and then she raised her voice evenemore and started to spin me at the chair and kept yelling look at the floor, look at thet floor! I took my things and ran out. NEVER coming back there again.

I purchased a groupon for microdermabrasion due to expire 21st of this month. The lady insisted that she cant accept my groupon because groupon does not pay her. She expected me to pay her even with a valid groupon. The service was very unpleasant. She spent 15 mins during the short 30min treatment. She used alot of pressure with the tool. She never asked me how i felt. I had to ask her to be more gentle because it hurted. She put a simple layer of mask on my skin and left me in the room for 15mins. She was very rude. My skin is red, dry and has lots of red dots after the short abrasive trestment.

Elena was quick and did a good job. I'm going to wait a few more days to see how the haircut turns out to be manageable. Only thing was I had to wait a long time despite of an appointment but she apologized for the delay and explained it was a rough day so I decided to let it go since everyone has their share of bad days.

A couple of the professionals from M2 in Bellevue are now at Magic, after M2 lost their lease and closed. One of these pros is Mariya who has been cutting and coloring my hair for 20 years or more. We have changed a few things over the years, and each new technique has been done with excellence, whether it is changes in cut or in color. The salon environment is delightful, as I hear more than one language being spoken. It is a place of warmth and cultural competence, as well as excellent service.
