i HATE jean shopping but the employees here made it so easy. they were attentive, kind, and helpful as they helped me find my size and try on different styles. Shachi (i hope that is how i spell her name!) in particular was exceptionally helpful and kind. i will definitely return!

The staff in this store are unfriendly, and watching customers with noses. I always feel weird in the store. This time, the girl didn’t even hide and rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a price match a couple of weeks after my purchase. Other brands usually have a month.It’s not about the money, but I feel uneasy when the staff is not on the customer's side and never reminds us of the promotion unless we find out online. Then there is only a one-week window to do the price match, which costs another trip to the store.It seemed like the products in the store never reflected the promotion online. I twice found out the dress and purse I bought had promotions online but were full-priced in-store.Bad customer experiences!

Madewell Bellevue has amazing costumer service! They made my experience very enjoyable and all the employees were very helping and kind. Madi their stylist was a great help and left me with a personalized experience.

Rude employees. I wasn’t acknowledged at all despite them paying attention to others. I waited to try on clothes for about 10 minutes. There isn’t a physical line, just people standing around with clothes so I made eye contact with several workers to make sure they knew I was waiting. Only when I went into an empty changing room did they greet me and tell me there’s a line and that I needed to wait. How am I supposed to get in “line” if no one will acknowledge me? Do I not fit your demographic, Madewell? This experience was so gross that I don’t think I’ll ever buy from them again.

Trying to find jeans that fit well after kids, and went to this location to return online order that didn't work for the nth time. Was lucky that Logan was there that day. He was super helpful+patient over 2 visits, offering suggestions and feedback. He helped me identify my current fit, and find items that works! Thank you!Another employee there, I think her name is Jessie, was also really helpful with returns!Thumbs up for this location

For the second time in a few years a $100 pair of garment-dyed pants washed unevenly. I went in to bring it to their attention. Instead of being polite and professional, it was like sitting for a deposition; the employee was incredibly impolite. Bellevue Square is my closer, but I’ll just go to UVillage. Shopping is meant to be enjoyable.

The two employees I worked with on 6/16 were so incredibly rude. I was trying to exchange a gift with original packaging and a gift receipt and they treated me very unkindly. So disappointed, this is my most frequented Madewell!

I have shopped at Madewell once or twice and have had ok experiences, but this time around I gave it another try and was very pleased with the customer service. The rep (I believe her name was Jessie) was incredibly helpful and gave me tons of useful and honest feedback! I am excited about my new jeans and will definitely be back!

I love Madewell, and I have been a customer for years. My experience at the Bellevue Madewell store was extremely poor. I was not greeted at the store and was not offered help while all other customers got helped. Lady at the cash register (first name initial was D.) was extremely helpful and nice towards the Caucasian customers in front of me. However, when It was my turn to pay, her attitude completely changed. She did not acknowledge me. Her speech was completely disrespectful. I sure did not feel welcomed there. Will not be returning.
