I thought I’d post this here because I know others will want to know this: we spoke to a receptionist here who very bluntly and adamantly said that Dr. Nathan is against any holistic practices, including feeding dogs a raw diet (as if a healthy diet is “holistic”). I’m not sure how feeding your dog real food instead of highly-processed, preservative-laden kibble became controversial, but apparently some people view it as such. Anyway, it might not affect your decision, but it affected ours. We appreciated their honesty, nonetheless.

Amazing! My family has been going here for many years with multiple pets, but the latest visit for my kitty’s dental cleaning compelled me to leave a review.
First, the costs were very affordable for high-quality care.
Second, the staff is SO helpful and compassionate. They were great with my wiggly cat, and everyone, front staff and Dr. Holly, was very responsive to my questions and anxieties about the procedure.
Third, her teeth look great. The care she received from start to finish was top notch.
We brought our first pet in because this was the closest vet to us at the time. Since moving over an hour away, I will continue to bring my current cat to Lakemont Vet. Thank you so much for all that you do for your patients and their owners!!!

Dr. Holly is probably the most compassionate human ever created. We’ve been taking our dog, Vedder, to her since 2016. Recently he was diagnosed with cancer and she has guided us every step of the way. Recently we came home from work and Vedder was soooo sick. It was a Friday night, the clinic was closed but Shareen saw my email and her and Dr. Holly saw him anyway. He came down with pneumonia and almost died - she saved his life. She checks in constantly, will go above and beyond. She is a gem and I wish every animal could have her as their veterinarian.

Dr. Holly and all the staff members are wonderful especially Sharene. I moved to the area in May 2020 with my two English Bulldogs and was very concerned about finding an experienced and knowledgable vet of the bulldog breed. I read tons of reviews and decided to give Lakemont a try and that was the best decision I made for my two dogs. Dr. Holly is the most compassionate and caring veterinary I've ever encountered. One of my dogs, Panda developed kidney cancer earlier this year and Dr. Holly was with me every step of the way and guided me on how to best care for her. When it was time to let her cross the rainbow bridge, I wanted Dr. Holly there because I knew she cared so much that she would not let my Panda suffer and she went peacefully in my lap. I'm so grateful for Lakemont because I know they will take excellent care of my pets.

Dr. Nathan is absolutely phenomenal! He has treated our dog Molly for the last 3 years and has taken such great care of her we really appreciate his attentiveness to monitoring her health. He's mild-mannered kind and very professional.

We love Lakemont Village Vet Hospital. Dr Nathan and Dr Holly have both treated Scout since she was 8 weeks old! They suggested a great pet insurance, are extremely responsive, and go above and beyond to examine and treat our girl's many ailments. We've been seeing them for over 2 years now and have no plans to switch vets.

They declaw cats for the comfort of humans, amputating their digits and bones. Imagine cutting off your feet to only your ankles as stumps and having to walk on those painful stumps. They get Arthritis, Infections and are in pain everyday having to use and walk on those paws.
