My fiance called for quote on a ring resuze just now, and the guy said, "I charge as much as I can, you don't wanna pay that much so I'll charge you as much as I can." He then said not to worry about the price and come in.That is a very big business red flag and I told my fiance that we're not going, he agreed. That screamed incompetent and scummy to me. So I would not go here.That was just first encounter.

Give this business a chance and you will be glad that you did!!I entered the shop just days before Christmas hoping to get my wife something special last minute.The jeweler took the time to help guide me around the shop, and was patient with me looking at some beautiful pieces that I could not afford.By the end of the visit I had hand picked two orange gem stones and gold loops that Chapa agreed to have handmade into beautiful earrings just in time for Christmas! And the earrings would perfectly fit into my budget as well.My wife absolutely loved the earrings, and they forever will be a beautiful representation of the fight we are going through together helping my 3 year old son battle Leukemia. (Orange is the color of the Leukemia cancer ribbon)I can't say enough good things about the shop, the owner, his handiwork, or our wonderful earrings.Thank you, and please give J Chapa Hernandez a chance to earn your business!

Simply put, Chapa is the best. His design, attention to detail, quality of materials and CARE he puts into every piece is absolutely top notch. I brought a pair of cuff links to him that were very important and sentimental to me and he transformed them into a beautiful pendant. Not only does he design and create his own personal designs but he can do so with anything you bring him as well. He's truly the best!!

Horrible experience custom designing a ring with Chapa. Took five long frustrating months and now I own a ring that keeps losing diamonds every time I wear it! When I asked if he would stand by his work he charged me again and didn’t even fix it. Now I have to start all over again with a different jeweler.He also never remembered who I was when I called throughout the process. To make matters worse, he kept putting my custom-designed ring in his store window for everyone to see before I picked it up each time he fixed it, or tried to fix it. Clearly, he was out of his league with this custom job but still charged me thousands for a complete torture treatment and an unwearable piece of jewelry. Don’t go there!!

I was so impressed with the detail and design of Mr. Hernandez's jeweley. Each piece is so unique! He is so gracious and accomodating. As i was waiting to speak to him about a ring design, i witnessed first hand how focussed he is with each client. He seems to know exactly what they want. He is straight forward and honest about prices and his quality of work is meticulous. I own several pieces. He is the only jeweler I truly trust.

Chapa is simply amazing! He custom made two sapphire rings for our 20th wedding anniversary and they were absolutely perfect! I also had him do some hand engraving for me. The man is a master at what he does and every detail is perfect. I wouldn't go to any other jeweler. I don't agree that he is rude- in fact, he is very warm and charming.

I literally walked in with nothing but an idea in my head for a ring. A couple of weeks later I was wearing the exact ring I had envisioned in my head. How is that even possible? All I know is the man is a magician. He works miracles with precious metal and stones. I will never go to another one of those pretend jewelry stores in the mall again. Jose actually makes the jewelry right there in his shop. Thank you Jose for listening to my ideas and making them real.
