I wouldn't ever buy from these folks again. If you are working with a contractor who is linked to Huntwood and wants to use them, I'd probably choose a different contractor. There's more detail on what went sideways on our job than I have time to write, but I should have known they were going to be a hard outfit to work with from our very first visit. If you walk in the showroom just to look at stuff, the sales people won't give you the price of anything. They will say "that finish costs more than the first finish," but won't give you any clue what the cost is. Everything has to go through the designer. So you won't really understand the price of anything until you get a full design. And that's a mess. Our designer worked fast, but was sloppy. He didn't really want to dive into the details of our job until after construction was started, when he went in to re-measure every thing. He then made a bunch of free-lance changes we didn't know about until after the cabinets were installed. Several things were done incorrectly. A few features we asked for (and which are on the written plans) weren't done. An entire top to one unit was cut to the wrong length, and had to be removed and re-installed, well after the rest of our job was done. Throughout the whole thing, communication was really poor -- the designer only wanted to talk to my contractor, didn't show up the day we were supposed to meet to go through the final design, and didn't seem to care that numerous small details fell through the cracks. I am pretty sure the design hates me and thinks I am an idiot (at least he seemed to act that way the last time we talked). But I think that's because I wanted to know whether the products that we paid $xx,xxx for were actually what we wanted. I got the sense that only *they* know what is best, and what the customer wants ranks second.

Love the cabinets easy to adjust the shelves. Large depth for better storage. Would recommend Huntwood Custom Cabinets.

I just had Huntwood cabinets installed in my new kitchen. They are good quality and the installation went well. Huntwood made some small adjustments after the install, and they really stand behind their product. I would definitely use them again.

OK quality cabinets, but poor value for money relative to other cabinet companies in the area. The customer experience was dismal from start to finish. The sales rep was standoffish and rude. We ordered light grey/green cabinets; they instead delivered bright, turquoise cabinets. We sent them back to be fixed, and they just sprayed over the turquoise, so the inevitable paint chips would have shown up as bright, turquoise spots, instead of neutral wood. During the second delivery, they severely damaged a wall and never paid for it (over $300, as a corner bead had to be replaced), even though they said they would. One of the delivery men carelessly tumbled expensive cabinets across a brand new floor, scratching it in the process. When politely asked to be more careful, he lost his temper and gave us a bunch of attitude. They also knocked over another cabinet because they weren't looking where they were going, after which a tirade of expletives ensued while they tried to blame us for having moved the cabinet from where they placed it. We returned the resprayed cabinets and ordered replacements from another company that makes their cabinets in the Seattle area. They were ~20% more expensive, but ~2x better quality.

Update: Sent email at the e-mail address below, but nothing. Original Post: About five years ago, I had Huntwood cabinets installed by my then contractor, RW Anderson, on their recommendation. The paint/finish on the cabinets started failing relatively soon. But what happened today was quite something else. The piece right underneath the stove just fell off on my foot. As I was wearing indoor shoes, I did not sustain any serious injury. Nevertheless, it was just unbelievable. After all, the piece that fell off was a fixed panel without hinges so it could not be from wear and tear. Also, we have no young kids who would have been pulling on that piece. I bought Ikea cabinets about the same time for our dental office, and the Ikea cabinets were a fraction of the price that I paid for these cabinets. And even with commercial usage, it's in so much better condition than these.

Very disappointed with quality of the cabinets I received for money I paid. Doors pealing from the first day it was installed, drawers misaligned, some cracks. DO NOT DO IT! Have not heard back from customer service for months.

I walked in since I couldn’t get a response online and although no one was on the floor with customers I was eventually greeted after several minutes of wandering around. I emailed the representative with details to request a quote in May and 2 weeks later still did not have a response so I followed up. It’s been 6 weeks since the last response that they were too busy to provide a quote- mind you the actual product will take several more months. Why should a few cabinets take 3+ months to quote in addition to fabrication time? If you think this experience is a one off- I similarly had communication issues with another Huntswood location trying to quote a cabinet.

Hired Huntwood to build custom cabinets and bench seating. To summarize, many things did not go well, and ultimately a disappointing job. For straight-forward cabinets, they will probably work out for you, but a for a complex project I would recommend going elsewhere.

Ended up going elsewhere to get cabinets made. I practically had my credit card ready to buy, but the salesperson was painfully slow responding to calls and emails. A couple of measurements were messed up, luckily I double checked everything. When potentially spending $12k I expect call backs within a day, not 3+ days. There were more frustrations with how the quote was done and messing up quantities etc, but I don't have time to type a long review.

Huge shout out to Dean! I walked in on a Monday afternoon and said, "Hi! One of the brackets that holds my faux drawer front in place snapped in half. How do I order a new set?" Dean said, "Give me 15 seconds", walked into his office, and walked back out with a new pair, free of charge. Easiest part replacement ever!

A Huntwood cabinet was installed in our house when it was built in 1986. Last week, a plastic fitting broke, causing a front panel to come loose. I could not find the fitting at any of the home improvement or hardware stores. I called Huntwood, and they immediately sent a replacement part, free of charge (I would gladly have paid for it). Great service and total class. Thanks Huntwood!

I had a hard time trying to decide if I should give them 5 stars or not. But bottom line is.....the cabinets turned out beautiful and the installer was both talented and took pride in his work! These cabinets were an addition to cabinets already installed by the builder so there was the complication of matching. They did a fantastic job with this as well! We definitely had some delays; you do have to be patient with this company. I also didn't like some of the forms that we had to sign indicating that they weren't responsible for potential damage. The installer was very careful with our belongings. I am sure that the company has been screwed in the past by damage that wasn't from them and thus the forms. I am very particular and I would 100% recommend this company!
